YMMV, I suppose.

WELL..

as I wrote before, I went to our apple store and tested the air 2 s and the mini 4 s. I tried to use apple music on all of them and guess what: apple music only worked on the mini 4 s, on the air 2 s apple music wasnt activated..

is that something to think about when we are talking about vibrations coming from music on these devices!? sure, I used vevo to get some music but it felt as if they didn't want to make it that easy for people to feel any vibrations at all.

conspiracy! haha.

I may look at a Mini at Apple. The color gamut and resolution were problematic with older minis and were havoc on my vision (but to fair I had that problem with the iPhone 6 too), hearing that the color gamut, resolution and reflections are much improved gives me a reason to look.

*Yes, I cancelled my ipad Air 2 staples order.:rolleyes::rolleyes: - Hi Ho Indecision! AWAAAAAAAY...

To be fair, the color gamut haters had a legitimate beef. There was really no reason for the mini to have a screen that much worse than the standard iPad. I think it's cool Apple finally addressed it. Wife might want one now.

That sounds so silly. "Colour Gamut Hater". Seriously??
I guess one has to be the ultimate nerd to hate on colour gamut.

Color gamut is a valid concern if it falls below a certain threshold. Web content tends to favor some variant of sRGB, so it's difficult to regard something as a high quality display if it cannot meet that. Beyond that point it isn't very meaningful as a measure of quality.

Yup, totally agree with you guys. Super happy that this has been addressed. The iPad mini has been my favorite form factor since it came out, so am happy that it finally is on par in every way. If it hadn't been for the screen on the mini 2, it would have been the obvious choice over the Air. Just hope that they upgrade it with the A9 at the same time as the Air 3...which will probably not be until next year.

The Pro will now be the flagship, getting the big X processor...so mext Fall you will get the Pro with the A10X, the Air 3 with the A9X, and the Mini with the A9...hopefully!

Sidenote - anyone else blown away by the fact the the iPhone 6s is benchmarking equivalent to the base 2015 rMB??? The iPad Pro will definitely benchmark higher...ARM rMB here we come...
