Bought a white 16GB mini. I bought my original iPad with 3G and in the years since then I have purchased a plan and used it about 5 total times. I just stuck with WiFi this time.

black model still showing Nov 2 delivery... only white model is sold out at launch date
You can hardly call it a big brother with no retina display and only an A5 chip!!
was faffing around with the bank of america 2% cash back and missed out on the first batch of white dang it.
Apple.com insists I live in Canada and won't let me change it. Not that I mind Canadians, but I live in NJ.
Welp, At the last minute I decided to order the black mini iPad and the retina iPad 16 GB's. I'll make up my mind which one I like and return the other one at my local Apple store 
I think that's because the white one was always a 2 week delivery time in the UK (US was 2nd November), I ordered a white one immediately and then noticed it was a 2 week delivery time so kept that order and proceeded to order a black one which has a delivery date of 2nd November so now have 2 coming!!
That's Crazy! A:ready! Luck I got my white and a black order in! Whew! Kids will be very happy the xmas!
If you put in the same SIM (you'd need to cut it down to nano), I imagine it would work.
I hear ya. And I just got Verizon 64gb iPad 3 in late June! Ugh! Already obsolete...oh well
Thanks - when I switched from iPad1 to iPad2 AT&T allowed the plan to transfer but I hadn't heard anything or any posts on it for the Mini/iPad4....
if that's the case then we won't see them til the following monday.... neither fedex or ups deliver on black friday!
when they said at the keynote that they deliver 2 weeks later... i took to mean they would delivery on the 16th!
Preordering the iPad 4th gen makes sense to me. Kind of a no-brainer. I wish you all luck in getting in the first batch shipped.
Preordering the miniPad seems less smart. If you want to, go right ahead, but personally, I'd want to hold it in my hand first. This is a brand new product category, essentially. I may get one, but I'll be playing with one in a store first in a few weeks.
