Preordering the miniPad seems less smart. If you want to, go right ahead, but personally, I'd want to hold it in my hand first. This is a brand new product category, essentially. I may get one, but I'll be playing with one in a store first in a few weeks.
I have to agree. For me no amount of talk or fanboyism or tech specs will tell me as much as a hands on demo of the Mini. Hence I'll be waiting for a test run of the product before I decide if I want a Mini or a iPhone5.
