i'm hoping it will be like the 2nd wave of iphones that actually shipped and got here sooner and that apple is giving themselves a buffer for right now!
if they release on the 16th i might go pick them up in the store, if available.... i think stock won't be an issue cuz most people probably went for the wifi version anyways...

Was just going to post this information. If you look at the **, says that international and air packages will be delivered that day even though it's a holiday. Chances are Apple will ship with one of those services so it's most likely that it will arrive on the 23rd.

For some reason all the white ones are shipping later. No one knows why. Luckily I ordered Black Slate as planned. Gotta have my ipad mini matching my 64gb iPhone 5

Maybe the delay is because of the engraving. Just a guess. I ordered a non engraved black 64 gb iPad Mini (at exactly 3 am EST through the Apple Store on my iPad2) and the shipping date shows 11/2.

I'm pretty sure the engraving occurs in China after the product is produced...this would explain the delay.

My friend ordered a 16gb white wifi immediately at 3. 11/2 delivery date. Based on what we know of white iDevices, there may have been very limited availability due to difficulties in producing them. Remember the issue with the white iphones.

Yeah and also they may have compared this to the iPhone 5 release. More black iPhone 5's blew the white ones out of the water so they probably expected the slate to be dominant.

There were 8 iPhone 5's left in town and the next shipment wouldnt be for 2 weeks. Only models left were black 64gb. And also, think about my profit when I sell this and get just a 32gb 5s/6. Hop off man.

Ordered a 16GB mini WiFi Black/Slate.
App was up first, but was hooked up to my wrong Apple ID and didn't want to log out on my phone so I waited for the site. Processing order email received at 3:06 EST. Delivers 11/2-11/6

yeah saw the app was up first but regardless of the good news i heard of it I still like to just do all my big transactions on my computer not my portable device.
Nov 23rd for the LTE but got off the phone with Apple and they say if ready sooner they will ship before then.
yup. all wifi black models still are saying on the apple store as a Nov 2 arrival date.
That's a negative. Apple doesn't display products until the launch date. I'd assume the poster meant they wanted to see them first, but decided to order anyway.
