Ordered a 16GB wifi white/silver for my mom and it delivers on 11/16. Not too long of a wait really.

It just means that Apple will ship them on Monday and you will receive it on Friday. Don't worry you will get it on 11/2.
I think that's where everyone is at. We are just waiting for the preparing for shipment. Which will likely to happen on Monday.
I ordered a white 32GB and it is scheduled for 11/15 delivery. While checking on another issue with apple customer service I asked if there was a chance they could get shipped out early and was told probably not, but that was the company line and she said just make sure to keep checking for email delivery notifications. Interesting answer.
It would be nice if it came early and it sounds like there may be a slim chance. Guess we'll see!

Ordered myself a slate
More than likely the number of white one's produced for launch was just a lot lower than the black/slate because it doesn't make sense to me how the white one could sell out in less than an hour at 3 AM in the morning whereas the black/slate is still available for 11/2 delivery a half a day later.
I ordered the 32GB Wi-Fi iPad Mini Black and it still says processing. My smart cover is preparing for shipment. Anyone else holding out hope that maybe some of the first preorders will arrive early?

I did,it showed two weeks time for both engraved and non-engraved,it's a gift,so ordered it with engraving,smart cover preparing for shipment,iPad two weeks
,what the hell am supposed to do with smart cover till then 
According to the Deliveries app, it should be delivered on November 23..... that will be cutting it close..... if it was the 24th, I wouldn't see it until after Thanksgiving weekend.
The two Lightning adaptors will be delivered tomorrow. Now I need to see about a case.
