iPad mini iPad mini Pre-order thread (Canada and U.S.)

Don't expect that you will get it on Tuesday. Even if they did ship it, you will get it on Friday as Apple would probably request UPS to hold it till Friday. They have done this for the iPhone 5 as well.
 
I ordered a 16 gb white mini ENGRAVED at 12:09 am PDT. It showed a 2 week delay so I knew it would not ship with the initial first purchases. Online order status shows a Nov 16 delivery. Not familiar with the engraving process. Anyone else ever order one engraved and might it show up sooner if there are not a lot of orders for engraved minis?

Ordered a white mini 16gb in Montreal. Says two weeks. I got my confirmation email at 5 minutes past opening. Ordered a Smart Cover too. It said it shipped earlier today.

It's updated pretty much whenever Apple's system catches up. It's lagging behind due to the huge mass of orders. At this point all orders made early are preparing for shipment.
 
My smart cover shipped yesterday but my 16gb black mini is still 'processing'. Anyone in Canada have their order move to 'preparing for shipment' yet?

no only 2 weeks for the white mini. Black and slate is 11/2 - 11/6 delivery date depending on your zone. Major cities (zone 1) will get them on the 2nd.

I've never had my Apple mobile devices engraved.
But perhaps, those that do have no intention of selling them and/or prefer having some form of identification to deter theft. Or just want to have them personalized. My sister pre ordered one for her grand daughter and had it engraved. Made sense to me.

Sorry, new to forums and ordering from the online store, the tracking number and delivery date were for the cover not the mini. My bad. my apologies for the incorrect information.
The mini still says preparing for shipment and delivers by 11/2
 
I'm still preparing for shipment, to Ottawa. Ordered at 3:01 am 16GB black/Slate Wifi. Any other Canadians, what's ur status?
