Delivered

32GB Space Grey delivered today at 11AM CST. Ordered online at 5AM on launch day.

I originally ordered a 128 Verizon Silver on Nov. 12 ~ 11 a.m. and it was still processing this morning, Nov. 15, at 7 a.m. I checked for in store pick up in NYC and there were none, except Short Hills in NJ. I seriously contemplated taking a trip, but I then searched for 64GB Silver Verizon, and they had them at 14th Street.

I didn't hesitate because I have an iPad 3 64GB which is only half full with apps and content my family shares. That's why I'm even getting an iPad, so that I can use it when I want. The 128 was full on gluttony, so I compromised, ordered the 64, and received notification that it was ready about 30 mins. after buying it. I am typing this post on it right now.

I wasn't sure how I would do with the size of the keyboard and text, but it has been great. And for all the nutters who are talking about discoloration or yellowish hues, I'm sure you're right, but for me and any other non-color specialists who are buying this season, I ain't seeing it. Good luck everyone.

11/15/2013 - Depart - Chek Lap Kok, HK

Probably high in the sky right now :).

I'm in the same boat, but my departure scan time is 9:59pm. I just checked the HKIA website and found that the last UPS flight (to Anchorage) on Nov 15 departed at 9:41pm. Hmmmmmmm... Maybe we will see if there is another update in 6~7 hours.

Mine was scheduled for delivery on the 20th. Fedex bumped it up to the 18th. Just checked the tracking and it's out for delivery. Fedex has always been more reliable than UPS in my area. Glad it was shipped Fedex. Also the Mini Smart cover is being delivered by UPS today. I guess today is iPad Mini day, to bad it's for the wife. But a happy wife means easy happy life! You married guys can probably relate. :D

I had the same thing. I placed a call because I wanted to see what was up and whether I could cancel my order and pick it up in store. For those that have the pickup option available, you may want to call and request that they cancel that order and instead rearrange for a personal pickup. I'm not sure if its protocol, but I was just very respectful with the rep (who was also very kind and understanding) and she was willing to rearrange the transaction for me.

Unfortunately, in the time I waited to call since this morning, my local stores sold out of my model and the closest store was a 2 1/2 hour drive one way, so I guess I'm stuck waiting. She offered me a smart cover, which was nice, but it's kind of aggravating that UPS has kind of just ****ed up like this.

Purchased Morning of release, choose standard shipping, was supposed to arrive 20-22nd, then the 18th, but arrived today. Also, of note, my screen does not have a yellow tint, but more of a blue tint.

Those of you with shipments "stuck" in Hong Kong (mine too): Has anyone called UPS? They may have better updated info than the online tool.

----------

By the way, even though it shows it still being in Hong Kong, it just may show up today. UPS has been known to do that. Just to be safe, I am putting a prepaid shipment delivery form on my door. It would be real drag to miss the delivery.

Mine has said "Arrival Scan" in Chek Lap Kok for literally 48 hours. What?

Completely unacceptable. I certainly hope UPS have simply failed to update their website and that the packages are already in the US -- although it's probably too late for delivery today.

My 64 LTE is shipping Fed Ex and is slated for delivery on Tuesday the 19th. The tracking info on Fed Ex says that it has been sitting on Lantou Island for the past day and a half. Called Fed Ex and they told me it departed Hong Kong last night so should be in Alaska or hopefully Memphis by now. Like any new apple launch there is such a large strain on the tracking system via fed ex and ups that I think it just gets back logged.

I won't have time to call UPS myself (I'm at work). But I'd love to hear the results if someone else calls. Sitting at the Hong Kong airport for two days seems too crazy to be true.

I placed my order within two hours of them coming online. For shipment notification nice and quickly. But now... ugh.

I called them yesterday they said diffenently with different agent which is confusing ! And they did not update mine when they depart HK , the update it after they arrived Louisville . But so far i am not too happy paying more for shipping but getting it late

I broke down. Bought and picked up a 32GB ATT LTE model in Houston.

So glad I did. Else I had a 3 day weekend to go crazy.

Ordered 128 ATT space gray still processing. Found one in Salt Lake City today on my way to pick it up now.

Wow.. who offered you a Smart Cover.. the local Apple Store staff? I'm thinking about asking for compensation for this, but don't know how to say it appropriately & what should I expect.

Mines in Richmond BC since 7am this morning. So close yet so far. Hate that it's going to sit there all weekend when I could be playing with it :(
