iPad mini iPad Mini Shipping/Tracking Thread

Using UPS Track By Reference, I located my iPad mini in:

Louisville, KY, United States 10/30/2012 1:32 A.M. Arrival Scan

Scheduled Delivery:
Friday, 11/02/2012, By End of Day

Mine is in PA right now. Just called FedEx and they said It was still there because of the storm. She told me my package should be here tomorrow before 3pm. I ordered my iPad Mini at launch the second you could. I had my doubts so I called back and got someone else and was told the same thing. Was told It would have been here today except they had delays due to the weather. Hope this is right and It arrives tomorrow before 3pm.
 
Mine has been stuck on 'preparing to ship' since Saturday. Seems like they're cutting it kinda close with it showing it'll be here on the 2nd.

did they need a tracking number or could you just give them your order number from apple?
 
I guess if I had gotten the black one mine too would be in middleton PA. Instead it shipped UPS and is stuck in Kentucky.

Not sure there's a definite rule... Mine is black, shipped UPS, is having a sleepover in Kentucky tonight before heading to Cali tomorrow or thursday. Although there was an UPS plane heading to Ontario, CA that left Anchorage around the same time as the one headed to Louisville...

Same for me and I had mine ordered the 2nd you could order.

By chance it does come from the PA location.. and ships FedEx Ground Home Delivery they would be delivered Saturday as well. When I ordered both of my macbook pro's I have, they both shipped from the Middleton location and arrived Saturday by FedEx Ground Home Delivery. I even think the one was delivered even before their site even told me it was being shipped, was almost 2 years ago.

I'm between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh.

I ordered mine on Friday around 2pm CST. I'm sure it'll still get here on the 2nd I think I'm just being impatient haha.

I hear ya! I can get that way too! I woke up at 3am to order and since then every day has been unbelievably slower and slower... today at work I thought it was thursday even. 🙁

so you'll receive your Mini early?
 
Mine still says prepare for shipment. I did all the tracking tricks and nothing comes up. I received my order confirmation at 2:30am Cst. Ordered black 16 Gb. I still have a 11/2 date so hopefully it arrives then
 
It's now Wednesday and I still have only "Preparing for Shipment." My Serial and Phone both don't work for tracking. I'm going to assume this isn't going to arrive on time. Awesome.
 
Again,again,and again. For those that are still in the prepared state, you will get it on time.


It's always like this. Every launch.
 
I live in NYC and my work's building has been without power since hurricane Sandy. 😱

My mini's being shipped to my work, but I'm afraid it might not get there Friday (or I might not be working still). Silly problem I know, considering the destruction that's been caused, but reading all of the reviews makes me wish I could have it now.

Oh well! It'll get here when it gets here. 😀

you can have Fedex hold your package and pick it up at their location instead.🙂
