My iPad Mini is coming through UPS. Tried calling them to do what you did and they said there was nothing they could do. :mad:

Don't count on it if it's listed as "event shipping".
 
Tried tracking using my phone number, iPad Mini serial number, order number, just the word iPad, nothing seems to work, has any one in Canada been able to track their iPad Mini?

What is this? I mentioned it earlier but I have never heard of it. :confused:

My 16 GB black F4 STILL had no tracking info in either Fed Ex or UPS using serial number, phone number or order number :(

So I see it doesn't matter if you sign off on the delivery or not since it's up to the "driver's discretion" as to whether or not they choose to accept your signed release and leave your package. Sorry for the "run on" sentence :eek:

That's just the kind of poor service I used to get from UPS (up until my last move with a different driver). Most of the time I didn't even get a notice. The driver would swear they attempted delivery even though I was home all day and no one came. They didn't leave a notice because they never came. Fortunately, this is the first time, in over 30 years, that I've had a decent UPS driver who does his job. Good news for me otherwise I'd be screwed this Friday :rolleyes:

Try with your order number as the reference. Mine is listed along with a bunch of other references (including the ipad's serail number) on the UPS site.

Same here. I had to drive 50 miles to get my MBP last month, because they never called me, tried to deliver to my building's office, who couldn't sign for me, obviously. My phone number was listed in big bold print on the package. I got a sticker saying they would try again the following monday (with the same results, obviously). I positively hate UPS. And my building office staff lol.

Also does everyone else that is getting it through UPS show Product as WORLD EASE?
 
How are you guys receiving these on November 2 when I go to the Apple website to order it says shipping two weeks?

So sorry (and so is UPS). I know exactly why you feel the way you do. I held the same disdain for their delivery service, until this year. If I move again I could go back into the bad UPS service pool again. Hope Fed Ex delivers your iPad Mini ;)

My iPad mini Smart Cover shipped via World Ease from Shenzhen.

EDIT: Its just the way UPS ships internationally to reduce the time the shipment takes to clear customs.
 
Heck I would just like to know it is on the way

It has been preparing for shipment from the first day and I can't find it on ups or fed ex. If it was on the way I would know I will at least get it on the 2nd
 
I'm not sure if this is widely known but I just called FedEx to see if they could withdraw the delay. Of course, I was denied but I did find out that I can hold the package at the sort facility and pick it up as soon as they open instead of waiting for the truck to deliver. Might be worth a try for any impatient people. Unfortunately, I won't be home to accept delivery so this was my only option.

In the same boat here. black/slate 32gb. reverted back to processing items today. They're going to have to ship them pretty soon for them to all be here on 11/2 as promised.

Same thing happened to me!!!! I review my home security camera as well and he didn't even ring the doorbell!

I'd be grateful they don't leave anything that says Apple on it. No matter what neighborhood you live in. They are probably a high theft box.

Unfortunately, you are wrong. I just did the same thing about an hour ago, and they had no problem withdrawing the shipment delay order set by Apple,
