iPad mini iPad Mini Shipping/Tracking Thread

None of the tracking tricks work for me (still) 16 GB black wifi from F4.

HOWEVER, the charge finally posted to my CC overnight (10/26 post date). I guess it had fallen out of pending for a few days.

Still not sure how you guys are seeing about the bulk shipments in your area :confused: But I am trying to have faith that it is coming on 11/2 like my preparing for shipment status indicates...

Don't know why you would assume that at all. If it says it will arrive on 11/2, it will arrive on 11/2. Mine is the same way. I'm not worried. The same thing happened with my iPhone 5 order. You will notice a flurry of activity tomorrow.

agreed - fedex and apple are VERY good at this. The only way you won't get it is if they need a sig and no one is at home...(and you have not done the pre-sign)

Not if Sandy has something to do with it. But that's an exception. Mines in PA, and there seems to be some problems. Still says the 2nd though!

Either something is happening or everyone is F5'ing their order status.
 
I just checked my tracking and my scheduled delivery date is 11/1. I am not getting my hopes up but that would be great! Especially since I did not call to see if they can deliver early.

I'm right there with you. Mines in PA too. They are at least back open today. Hopefully they'll automatically upgrade packages so everyone gets their packages on time.
 
Mine has been stuck in louisville, ky for the last several days. I wonder why all of the updates stopped.
 
I ordered two mini's One 16 GB and on 32 GB. The 16 has been billed to my Credit Card already. My smart covers should be out for delivery today. No tracking info available on either Mini yet from UPS or FedEx. I am in Canada BTW.

It will probably update by tonight or tomorrow. They will ship it out overnight and have it delivered on the 2nd. This happened with sister's iphone 4S last year. When I pre-ordered her iphone 4S, it stayed in Louisville for couple of days and the day before it was delivered on launch day.

Us Canadians won't get any sort of tracking info until tomorrow afternoon or evening. Our iPads are in Canada, just sitting at a warehouse waiting to be packaged up and shipped. Same deal as with the iPhone 5 that were stored in a warehouse in Burlington (Ontario) and then overnighted to the various destinations across the country.
 
They will be kept a a major hub only to be sent to your local hub early am on Friday. This way there are few if any that are accidentally released.

I do think that Apple has an agreement with UPS and FedEx to NOT post the tracking number to prevent Apple people from "hammering" their tracking website every 10 minutes!:eek: Just imagine.:p

Everyone needs to relax and let Apple and UPS do what they do best!
 
Still holding in Pennsylvania. Looks like they will definitely not be released until 2 November.

Actually with the iPad 3 the shipment of them for Southern Ontario arrived at Hamilton Airport mid-day the day before the release (don't recall the exact dates) and from there were sent to Concord, ON (Jane & Steeles) facility and were on trucks for delivery on the release date.

The Mini's may well be in Kentucky or some other UPS hub or at the very least on board a plane bound for Hamilton Airport right now.

But I am bothered that the 16 GB has been billed and the 32 GB has not. No shipment notification for either one yet.
 
If that were true then they should post the tracking

and let all of us hammer the Fed Ex and UPS sites instead of Apple.

Plus some people already have their tracking iinformation and called to get early delivery.

I believe Apple wants everything delivered on 11/2 but they should know that all the folks that ordered early are trying to find their minis.
 
Well New Yorkers with UPS shipping minis should be comforted. My Smart Cover is out for delivery today so it would appear that UPS will be able to get out minis from Louisville to NYC on time! My Smart Cover left Louisville in the afternoon yesterday and arrived at the local facility last night. My tracking info wasn't updated until hours later. So don't worry if you live in NYC and it looks like your mini isn't moving, it looks like UPS has it under control.

Or the order status is glitched up. Many people aren't being notified that their Mini even shipped when it's in Kentucky by now.

My 16gb Black Slate hasn't even shipped yet according to Apple:(
