It was in KY for two days, It might be at my place in the evening of friday. Sad thing is I have to pick up from my complex office later since I am kinda busy in the evening and office close around 6 pm. :(
 
Well my mini is still in PA with delivery for Friday, my Smart Cover is somewhere because of the weather...View attachment 373960 any chance it may still get to NY by Friday? My area is fine now.

Here is what mine says... Im going to just get in the Apple line.

If you look a few before my original statement you'll see the answer, the wait is annoying but hopefully we'll be able to check tomorrow, I found my tracking number on the apple website, go to open orders page and click the drop down menu on the blue track button, there's the 18 digit code beginning in 1Z.

By the way, for the people complaining about the "Attempted to Deliver" notices when UPS or FedEx comes around I happened to notice this right on the Apple shipping terms page.

"Most of our shipments contain valuable items, so our carriers are required to obtain a signature upon delivery. If you will not be available to sign for your shipment, consider shipping the item to an address where someone you trust will be available to sign for your package. Once your order has prepared for shipment or has shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address."
 
Phone number associated with my apple ID.

What other info do you put in, for your account number etc. mine says preparing for shipment but that's it nothing else.

Also just rung apple and they couldnt give me a 1Z number, and again Im from the UK, mine was actually shipped on saturday according to the website... so I cant get a tracking number nothing other people have said works...

If it's any consolation I'm having the same problem. They clearly state on the shipping details the tracking number so I'm not convinced it does start with 1Z, at least for UK orders. It will probably update reasonably soon.

I ordered my iPad Mini in the early morning on the 26th as well. I've been checking both the Apple store site and the Apple Support Profile site all day, and just about 15 minutes ago, my iPad Mini's serial number showed up in the support list. The shipping information has yet to update (and I can't search by reference on UPS or FedEx with the serial number), however it's a start.

I ordered mine from Nova Scotia. I have an estimated Zone 1 delivery of November 2nd.

So, I would say the Canadian orders are being processed/updated today, similar to how we saw the UK orders appear to be getting more details today as well.

lack of shipping is distressing, but remaining calm

So, I ordered a 16GB black the morning of the 26th, but it still says preparing for shipment. Tried tracking by reference, but all I get is the info for the smart cover I ordered at the same time. I'm remaining calm that it'll be here on friday! I just wonder if anyone else is in the same boat I am.

update: So I checked fed ex, and behold, there it was! Picked up in ONTARIO, CA for Future Delivery. Wonder why they used fed ex for the mini, but UPS for the smart cover. Odd.

Just rang apple for a second time and they gave me a tracking number,however its not working just yet

I ordered mine at about 3:05am est, still no serial on my support page. In Toronto fwiw.
 
Curious to see if any of those people who supposedly had there future delivery removed if they actually received their ipad mini yet.
