iPad mini iPad Mini Shipping/Tracking Thread

My status on Apple.com changed from "Preparing for shipment" to "Shipped" at about 4AM last night. The iPads should start moving towards their destinations later on today/tonight for delivery tomorrow.
Pretty disappointed...
I ordered as soon as the store went live early morning on the 26th and I just got my shipping email staying it shipped yesterday (October 31) and will arrive on Tuesday, November 6th. This, on top of the fact I'm in the "zone 1" November 2nd delivery area, which makes it even more annoying...
I live in Nova Scotia (Canada). Looks like Canadian orders are not exactly shipping in the same priority as American - at least not mine. Shipping via UPS.

Fedex tracking info just updated for me. Now says "Arrived at FedEx Location Newark, NJ". Can't wait! Only one more day, and my Smart Cover should be arriving here later on today.
All I can say is finally - I received the shipping notification 
What surprised is that its in Newark NJ. I'm surprise that the distribution center would be operational given Hurricane Sandy and the proximity of Newark to NY, particularly Manhattan.

I, too, was surprised. Figured they'd send them to another distribution center while NJ was being cleaned up after the mess that the hurricane made.
My status now says shipped complete with UPS tracking numbers for both Minis.
UPS site does not show status yet but that is normal. Some time today the will start showing up as arriving in Mount Hope, then Concord and ultimately the "Destination scan."

Nope. It's a legit 1Z UPS tracking number. There is no information on it yet. The details about whee it shipped and arrived we're in my Apple shipping notification email itself :/
Oh ok, well mine was shipped Saturday yet the info doesn't work,the tracking number I got yesterday, and the info still doesn't show
Same here... mine just popped up as shipped this morning from Middleton, PA. I guess the bulk shipped a bunch of them to this location or something. Or who knows, maybe they had made a lot of them over the past month or so and stockpiled them in distribution sites for the launch. I ordered a 16G WiFi, so they probably made a lot of those initially.
Finally can see my other unit. White mini came from China and was the one sitting in Kentucky since 10/30 like quite a few of you. Never had details on 2nd unit so I'd assumed the Black mini was FedEx, and it was. It was picked up in Nashville, TN on 10/28. Stateside all this time it seems.
My UPS and FedEx drivers come at random times so I expect to be confined to my house all day. Hoping they show up early.

That's a generic email with the receive date being the end in the 'Nov 2-6' range. If you are in zone 1 you'll get it tomorrow.
Finally Apple update the site to show my Mini shipped!!

I really needed Apple to update its site since I won't be home Friday (work) and I needed the "Pre-Sign for Delivery" option off their website. I tried to call Apple last night to find out why it had shipped but the site still wasn't updated and the person on the phone was CLUELESS. Telling me it had not shipped, and when it did, that it would be coming from a Texas wharehouse.
Useless Apple Support.

Hopefully. I mean, the email stated specific dates (Nov 6), not ranges, the Apple site shows it shipped on the 31st, the serial didn't show up until yesterday either, and the UPS tracking # still isn't active. I'll be quite surprised if it does actually show up tomorrow. Definitely sucks, since there is an Apple Store 15 minutes from me...I figured I would get it at least within the first 4 days of it coming out...
