I finally got my shipping notice. It's going to arrive tomorrow it's still sitting in Kentucky.

Got my shipping notification e-mail early this morning. Held at Middletown, PA since the 28th, delivers on Nov 2nd by 3pm via FedEx here at my office in Boston. Guess Apple's finally got a handle on at least their direct store orders getting out early.

For Canadians around the GTA the picture will be clearer by he afternoon. If the shipment makes it to Concord, ON odds are you will receive it Friday. Wit hiPad 3 they were delivered at least as far out as Whitby and Barrie.

i hope this is the case. My tracking# currently is not showing anything on UPS.

My email also states Delivery date of Nov. 6th and i order 5:30am on pre-order day.

I'm flying out on sunday so i'll miss the Nov 6th delivery date if its true.

Let's hope there was a batch drop in Canada and these tracking numbers are distribution from a local warehouse.

Yeah, it looks like all the Canadians so far commenting all have the same thing, regardless of which city it is. We'll know more this afternoon once we see some UPS updates.

In the end, it can't be as bad as the Nexus 7 shipment issues that were going on during pre-orders, lol (for Canadians, specifically).

Pretty disappointed...

I ordered as soon as the store went live early morning on the 26th and I just got my shipping email staying it shipped yesterday (October 31) and will arrive on Tuesday, November 6th. This, on top of the fact I'm in the "zone 1" November 2nd delivery area, which makes it even more annoying...

I live in Nova Scotia (Canada). Looks like Canadian orders are not exactly shipping in the same priority as American - at least not mine. Shipping via UPS.

Agree, same story in Montreal!

Buying from Apple was cool. I got my shipping notice. My mini's are all in Mira Loma CA delivery set for Mesa AZ tomorrow via Fed Ex! They usually come to my work by 9:30!
Still waiting on a shipment notice from Verizon for two iPhone 5's for delivery tomorrow. Ugh!

Just got my Shipped email as well. I ordered @ 3:01AM EST on the 26th. It says it shipped on the 28th and will be delievered on the 6th. Im in Ontario Canada.

I wouldn't actually put a lot of weight on the Apple site's shipping estimate in Canada just yet. Probably an under-promise/over-deliver situation.

I'll keep watching the UPS site today.

At least yours states it shipped on the 28th (versus the 31st in my case).

Any Zone 2 or above people out there from Canada with any information?

Me too. It's pretty goofy to get a shipping notice on Thursday when it left China on Monday and has been sitti gain Kentucky since Tuesday.

Add me to the Canadians who ordered at 3:04am EST and just got the "shipped" email for 11/06 delivery. A lot of times it is delivered before UPS updates, but I usually see some tracking in advance. Currently tracking number isn't even set up yet. Guess we will know a little more this afternoon.

Yep, mine is there too. Got there on 10-30. They will all go out this evening to our local hubs and be out for delivery this time tomorrow!

Just a helpful reminder for us Canadians:

Dates shown are only applicable if the delivery date on your order
acknowledgement is: “Delivers 11/2 - 11/6”

We just have to hope those Zones hold true. They are just estimates after all, however I would think November 2nd vs 6th would be quite the variance.

Mine still stuck in Louisville, KY since Tuesday and no movement at all for 2 days!!

Hope that it should be around Scottsdale, AZ tomorrow but in the afternoon since I have work in the morning. Can't wait to get it!!

UPS signing rules

Had an interesting experience...

I ordered an iPad Mini, which is expected to arrive Friday and an iPad Mini Smart Cover.

I was unable to be home on Thursday when the smart cover was out for delivery, but printed off the pre-sign for from Apple's website. I also left my cellphone on the paper just in case they had questions.

The UPS guy called me and said he can't leave it because Apple requires a signature. I told him, "isn't that what the form is for?" And he said he couldn't do it.

Living in a big city, we have multiple UPS guys, so I hope the other guy will leave it.

But isn't that was the pre-sign form is for?

They (UPS) put the 1st delivery notice on my form. I complained to management and I was told because it's Apple product. They have instructed all drivers it's their discretion to leave Apple products at the door. To alleviate grief and issues of stolen merchandise most drivers are not leaving 'any' Apple products at the door. This isn't a local communication but coming from management. Thieves apparently like to steal stuff coming from Apple, left on doorsteps.

The drivers still have the discretion of whether or not to leave the package even if the form is signed. My driver wouldn't leave my two iPhone 5's on my porch even though I'd properly filled out and signed the forms.

Welcome to the waiting in Kentucky club.

And I sure as heck hope my UPS guy uses his discretion and leaves my iPad at my door tomorrow. If not I'll be so pissed.

Got shipping notice from Apple, saying that it won't get here until Nov 6 (next Tuesday). I am furious, as I ordered a black 16GB mini just 4 minutes after 3 am EDT. This is shipping to just outside GTA, Ontario, Canada. Damn you Apple, now I have to go lining up Friday morning.

Chill out. You'll get it tomorrow. Mine says Nov 6th as well. Same as the iPhone 5, apple puts the latest guaranteed delivery date in the range. You're in zone 1 so you'll get it tomorrow. You will see tracking updated this afternoon showing the mini in either mount hope or concord. By the time you get up tomorrow it'll be 'on vehicle for delivery'
