Even though mine is preparing for shipment and cannot be cancelled in debating on getting the lte version
Didn't say it was valid either though. It said iPhone 5 and the new iPad. Didn't mention mini at all as it hadn't been released:/

Mine is preparing for shipment,wanted the white but by the the time I ordered at 2:15 am CT they were sold out
I had bought a white 16 gb white iPad 3 2 weeks ago,replacing one that got stolen,and I wanted to get the 4th generation,but since I was already a day past return time I had to put it up for sale on eBay which I did yesterday early afternoon,but the value had fallen so much on it,I only got $400 for something that is in new condition that I paid for $543 with tax 2 weeks ago,so I didn't get enough to get the 4 so I got a mini,it will be easier to use during reading.
It just frustrates me that they upgraded so soon and totally dropped the 3 making the resale value plunge,ohwell I'll enjoy the mini for now and get the 4 eventually.

I just checked and see that now too. When did that get updated? I am pretty certain that text was NOT there when I ordered my iPad Mini at 6:23 AM (Central Time) this morning. I was expecting to get my 5% back.
As far as the order, mine updated to "Preparing for Shipment" sometime between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM tonight.

I ordered mine right when the pre-order started at 12 AM PST on my Apple Store App (iPhone).

Black and slate 16GB changed to preparing for shipment! But I guess everyone would eventually get their statuses changed to preparing for shipment, because once you get changed, you still get it on 11/2 anyway. The shipments will probably get held at Fedex or something until 11/2 when the trucks are allowed to deliver them.
iPad Mini White & Slate changed from "order being processed" to preparing for shipment, and that I will be emailed once the iPad has shipped . I am exited! I didn't buy the smart cover, instead I'll wait and get either the leather smartcover or some type of aftermarket full body protection like Ghost Armor or Best Skins Ever. Always worked out well, no scratches on my iPhone 4 when I sold it for $475 back in 2011.

I'm starting to wonder if I made a bad choice getting the red smart cover with the black model...
