Got the same call a few minutes ago. I tried printing that letter off Apple's site, but my driver did not leave it when I got my iPad 3's. Luckily, when I came home, I spotted him driving down the road in another neighborhood and followed him till he pulled over. So, I still got my iPads on launch day. LOL! My passenger thought I was crazy. :p
I will stay home all day tomorrow just in case since it seems to be a driver discretion thing. :)
 
Mine is also in Kentucky. At 12:45. So tomorrow it will be. All the happy little UPS Drivers are out and about. and UPS Air.

Mine is coming to Massachusetts. Never went to New York.

mine is an overnight truck drive from Louisville hub to Greensboro hub and then to local hub. Prob won't leave until 11pm or so, just to keep me checking every 15 mins.

Also, just got an update.
iPad has gone through 'destination scan'
On its way to Birmingham, UK! woot woot

Also, Apple have recently updated their OS to iOS 6.0.1 will any folks be upgrading their new devices as soon as they get them?

Just did my iPhone 5 a few minutes ago.
 
My mini has departed KY, 3:52 local time.

And I just upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.0.1 as well.
Will be doing the same for the mini.

Like others, I had ordered my black 16GB Mini early Oct 26 via iPhone app, even before the store website was back online. The estimated delivery was Nov 2-6. The shipping notification came early this morning, with a UPS estimate of Nov 6 (Toronto). None of the reference # tricks worked for my order, which at this moment still has no tracking info.

It'll get here when it gets here of course, but I guess UPS' tracking system is no faster than the newspaper: it only tells you what happened yesterday. Slower than that, since they've supposedly had it in their system since they picked it up Oct 28, and they still aren't telling me where it is. :rolleyes:

Anticipation is always fun, though. Assuming I don't spend anymore time reading hyperbolic rants and counter-arguments about screen resolution. :D

iPad Mini tracking info finally updated on the UPS website... :) Concord ON, should be here tomorrow...Anyone else in Canada see their tracking info updated?

The other is not scanned yet but it "Left Apple Oct. 28".

Both are UPS Tracking numbers.

Nice. I'm in the same boat as your 2nd mini. It's saying left apple Oct. 28 but still isn't showing up in ups tracking.

I'm in Brantford, Ont. and my UPS is still unavailable. I have the tracking number, and a ship date of Oct. 28th.
 
I received my shipping notice last night sometime. Didn't really want it sitting at my front step with many people probably knowing what it is, so it's being held at my local Fed ex for me to pick it up tomorrow
 
My tracking finally showed up this morning. Currently on its way from Indianapolis towards Chicago (FedEx). I requested a hold at the FedEx hub which is about 1 mile from my house so I can pick it up first thing in the morning.
