I live in middle Tennessee. My iPad was in Nashville last night, but I woke up and it's in Memphis. It could've been here today but they have the stupid future delivery put on it.

I also live in Middle Tennessee and mine says it is in Nashville, Tennessee with a Delivery date of 11/2/12 before 3pm.

Got an update overnight. My iPad mini is now in Oakland and is due to arrive at my door by 3pm on Friday.

Still no update or info of any kind on UPS Canada web site. I'm sure it will be tomorrow but I'd relax more if I could just see what is going on.

Considering it's UPS, you will probably have it in your hands, and about 8 hours later it'll say it's out for delivery.

This.

I remember checking the delivery status for my iPad 3 on the UPS website and it said it would deliver the next day. I was using my iPad 3 to check the site :)

Same boat here, except Northeast USA. Apple site says 11/2, but still "Preparing for shipment" with no tracking number, and nothing comes up on FedEx or UPS when I search by reference. Torture!

Sadly, in Singapore iPad Mini won't deliver on 11/2 for those pre-ordered online. But Apple has already charged to my credit card, the Order Status is "Preparing for Shipment" (hence can't cancel the order now) but showing deliver on 11/14. Worse, local Apple reseller is selling the iPad Mini on 11/2!

Got me wondering, what's the whole purpose of "pre-order" if I'm going to get the iPad Mini TWO WEEKS after the local reseller start selling.

Mine was sitting in CA, 8 hours away and then they flew it to Memphis so they can fly it back to AZ.
I wish Apple owned FedEx.

I hear ya! Mine was in Mira Loma CA this am and now it is in Oakland coming to Mesa tomorrow. Nutty!

Give it 4, maybe 5 more hours.

Some good news!

One of them has now shown up on a scan at UPS Concord facility. I am now satisfied that they will be here tomorrow!

ETA the Brown Cube Van of Happiness usually shows up here very close to lunch time!

Two IPad Minis two Carriers

Just got shipping notice overnight. Ordered one Mini on the 26th and the other on the 27th...one is arriving tomorrow via fed-x and the other via UPS... THE GREAT RACE IS ON!!!

I just got an automated call from FedEx saying that I have a package being delivered tomorrow by 3 that will require a signature & if I can't be home, I can leave a signed note outside authorising them to leave it.

That's odd. Wonder how Apple determines which will ship via Fed Ex and which will ship UPS. In the past I've always gotten my Apple products shipped via Fe Ex. I think this is the first time (my iPad Mini) I've ordered something from the Apple Store that shipped UPS.

Perhaps the volume is too large (on pre order launches) for one shipper to handle? Maybe someone out there has a better answer :)
