Sorry, but I have to ask, you ordered a tablet that you thought was too expensive and had specs you thought were sub-par, just because the tablet you wanted was out of stock? Why didn't you just wait?
As a long time owner, now sold, of a cellular Tab 7.7, in a lot of ways superior hardware to the mini and N7, running the splendid Cyanogenmod10....prepare to be disappointed and underwhelmed with the Android tablet software experience.

i'm waiting patiently too for my LTE white mini which i orderd on 26 Oct. i checked now and again but dispatch still showed as "late November".
i also ordered a mini smart cover, lightening adapter and nano-SIM card all to be sent at the same time as my mini iPad. today i deleted the nano-SIM card and noticed that the processing time changed to 1-2 weeks 30 Nov-07 Dec - yay!!
so i guess if you have ordered other accessories to be sent out with your iPad mini, best to delete some or reorder and ship separately as they may hold up delivery time of your iPad mini.

Have to say that I got a nexus as there was no sign at that point of an iPad mini. For me it is really sluggish - apps that open immediately on my iPad take 10seconds or more on the nexus. If I'd not experienced iOS before it would most likely have been ok but, as it is, December 5th and my iPad mini can't come soon enough!!!

Hmmm. My Nexus 7 is pretty fast even compared to my 4th gen iPad. When I had the wifi Mini and the Nexus side by side the Mini was still faster. But my N7 is pretty snappy. Maybe you need a rebuild on your N7. I do like the Mini better from pride of ownership perspective.
Had a play with a mini this morning again and I really don't know what to do. I have both a cellular N7 and a Mjni on order.

You just need to wipe it and start again. It could be some apps you have that are holding it back. Back up to your Google account first. I think I've decided to go with the Nexus 7 cellular and hold off for the next generation of Mini where hopefully the screen will be a bit crisper.

I'm boned if it delivers on Friday. It's the first day for ages that EVERYONE is at work or gone away for the day
. Saturday is fine. Wish they'd give me an option like Prime deliveries off Amazon, you can reply to a text to delay it a day. Never had this option on any previous orders I've made from the Apple store, not going to happen with this one, boo. Probably get delayed till Monday if indeed delivery fails on Friday.
I'm off work from wed-tues and its being delivered to work. Not knowing when its going to be delivered means i can't change the delivery address to home.

Heh, sounds like me in reverse. I'm off Wed-Thu this week, in work early Friday till 1300. The missus is away Thu night through Saturday, my retired old folks could have nipped down and house sat till I got home, but of course they're on holiday too this week. Pfft. Meaning, looks like ANOTHER 7 days wait for me, Christ.
luckily my office is about 40mins from my flat, so i will couple it with a gym trip on friday should it arrive.
thats assuming i can trust the fellow who sits next to me not to sign for the delviery and take it home with him for the weekend... which i cant!
having said that, normally these things ship from china, and the fact that nobody has a tracking number yet suggests to me we wont see these on friday.

I'm expecting mine to arrive on the 7th. That way, if it comes earlier it'll be a nice surprise.
they won't miss the delivery date, but they gave you a window so it oculd arrive any time in that window unfortunately.

but if i want he can book 1 for me and then if he gets them in store he can cancel my order
