Every one of the numerous posts here says they only charge on dispatch, so it won't happen till next week.

It wouldn't show up on a statement that quickly.

Having said that, my available balance is now £269 less than it was before I placed the order. It looks to me like they authorise the card at the time of sale, but it won't show up on your statement until Monday (when they'll probably be dispatching anyway).
 
Does anyone have the slate iPhone 5? How have you found the back of the phone to be after x amount of weeks? Debating a black iPad Mini but slightly dismayed by the reports of it being scratch-prone.
 
Looks like the preorders are all gone. 64gb and 32gb are showing 2 weeks now as well. Apple why do you never have enough available for everyone?

Because in order to have 'enough for everyone' they'd need to have stock sitting in warehouses for weeks until enough were ready. That's a waste of money! One of Steve Job's massive successes upon his return to Apple in 1996 was to implement just-in-time manufacturing in order to cut costs.

I've had mine since launch and it's still perfect! I don't think that the iPad mini would get scuffed that much, if at all...
 
Will ordering a Digital AV adapter in the same order slow the whole order down to 2-3 weeks?

Should I cancel it and order it separately?

If you want to ensure release day delivery, it's usually always best to order any accessories separately at another time.

Both colours in all sizes now out of stock and showing "2 weeks".

I'm surprised even the 64GB has sold out.

Same here, but at least it isn't a huge wait like Retina MBP's and the iPhone 5's. I'm thinking that some people have shelled out the extra cash for the more expensive models cause they couldn't get the 16 gb versions. I could be wrong though.

Bought this morning at 8am, on break at work. I had the first iPad but sold it after a few month. Stupid decision really due to needing cash. This Mini is gonna be great in the car for the music and films.
 
I'd originally ordered white and thought there was something wrong with the site / app as it was saying the 2 week thing. Also, my original order (at 8:00 am via the app) said wi-fi + celular and I was like 'No!'.

So I went back in and it then just said Wi-fi only so I ordered but it still had the 2 week thing.

Thought it was fishy so went and checked the black out and it had availability to deliver so I just ordered without thinking haha.

Anyway my black is now preparing for shipment with delivery next Friday.

So looks like it's black for me. Have the black iPhone 5 and love the look of that but the white looked better in the iPad mini to me so not exactly what I wanted, but happy none the less.
 
Preparing for shipment too :) roll on next Friday, especially as ive got a busy week in work next week that i'll be glad to see the back of.

Same here as well
Not bad considering I was half asleep having just finished an 18 hours shift
 
Another painless pre order via the iOS App Store this morning.

I'm also a UK resident and mine has changed to preparing for shipment also :)
