Trying to decide whether it's worth going to the Apple Store tomorrow just so I can get one two days early... Also wondering whether selling the other on eBay might yield a tidy profit...

knowing how many of us are desperately trying to get one from the stores tomorrow i'd say that would be plain evil.
About 45 minutes ago I used the Apple Store app on my iPhone to check stock at various stores on the east coast around Pittsburgh and NYC.
I found that Verizon 32 and 64 were commonly available for reservation, *no* 32 or 64 GB AT&T, and a *few* 16 GB AT&T. Only checked for black ones.
At 10PM Pacific, I'll be checking around to see if my local stores have any.
For those who want to get their LTE minis earlier, you can order and pick up from apple. Better move it though. Will probably sell out quick!

My ATT 32gb sits in Shanghai.......but I just used the Apple store 10pm nightly thing - and found a 64gb ATT in stock 20 miles from my house! Purchased and ready for pickup tomorrow!!
Take your time UPS. Shlep that thing all the way to Colorado 10 days after everyone else gets theirs..........cuz I'm picking mine up in-store tomorrow! Will return my pre-order as soon (or if) it ever arrives.

I did the same....actually went to the Apple.com store at 2 am, well after the 10 pm thing...and my local store had 16 GB black ATT and 64 GB white ATT's. My pre-order (that is suppose to save me shopping aggravation, and I have let it get the best of me) is suppose to be here Tuesday, but I have decided to switch colors and get it in the morning. I originally ordered a white 64, then cancelled and switched to black....now after playing with a 16GB wifi black one for the past 2 weeks...I have decided to go back to the white. The best part is, if I don't like the white, 3 days later a black one will be showing up...I will make a final decision and return the other. Lots of shuffling, but it will all iron itself out in the end. I think I will like the change to white...all other previous iPads and iPhones have been black, but the white mini just looks right.
So it's off to Apple in the morning to grab the reserved and paid for white 64 GB ATT...taking charge of the DEBACLE....

I will probably just wait for Mon/Tues. to roll around and my pre-order to finally make its way here.P.S. I've asked this in a few threads but I don't think anyone has tried this yet - has anyone called AT&T to ask if it might be possible to get the $100 subsidy credited to their account for signing a 2-year contract on a Mini purchased through Apple.com instead of AT&T?
They're making the money on the contract, not the sale of the device (for the most part, I assume) so I would think they may be open to that... Just curious.
Well, Anchorage Folks (previously Shanghai Folks), I don't know about you but mine didn't move at all once it got to Anchorage. If it doesn't move to Memphis until Monday, then my 11/20 delivery date will probably be accurate. Bummer.

Mine looks exactly the same as yours. Perhaps ours are being driven to Memphis? ha. Like our own version of Ice Truckers.
Just a bizarre tracking experience and unlike any other with Apple products coming out of China that our family has ordered.
Hopefully Monday but Tuesday is looking questionable at this time if the units don't start moving soon.

Got the shipped notification email earlier today. FINALLY..
Shows delivery date of 11/21 by 10:30am.

It looks like you and I are in the same boat. The same slow boat from China. My shipping notification and my mini configuration are the same as yours. With the poor handling of the orders by Apple I am not going to be surprised if it is not here on the 21st.

I couldn't wait anymore, I went ahead and picked-up a 32GB Black Verizon today at my local Apple Store via Apple Store App.
Now I have until January 7, 2013 to decide which to keep. I originally ordered the AT&T version since I have a contract with them. Verizon or AT&T?

I'm in almost precisely the same boat. (Actually, I'm not. My iPad is. Same dates and times...)
I reserved online at 9:20pm Pacific, went in at 9:40 (store closed at 10pm) and surprised the staff, who thought that reservations didn't start till 10pm. But I have a 64GB Verizon iPad mini now.
I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan. My wife has an AT&T iPad, so I will under no circumstances let the unlimited data plan lapse. I'm going to have to decide if tethering is worth dropping down to only 2GB of data/month...
Shipping update
After mine shipped, the delivery date changed from Nov 21 to Nov 23 to Nov 26.
I called Apple and asked why all these date changes blah blah blah and was very polite about it and so was Apple. They offered to credit my account for the smart case for my frustrating experience and informed me it would either be delivered the 23 or the 26. They told me more than likely the 23rd and gave me some kind of explanation which included quality issues that caused a delay.
Well, getting the case for free was a very good gesture and I guess I just have to be patient and keep on top of the shipping updates to be sure someone is here to take delivery on one of those unstable date changes.

Well, after all that free stuff and my quoted shipping dated moved to 29 November I received a shipping confirmation this morning: iPad mini 16GB White AT&T is scheduled to arrive 20 November. It's currently in Alaska. Good luck everyone!
