The tracking number is different and has a different order number... This is flipping crazy.
Damn I was excited

16GB AT&T black/slate...expected 11/19 but I received today via FedEx

Your scans have been exactly 1 day ahead of the rest of us for most of this process. Maybe Monday is a possibility.

Congrats on receiving it. Hope it is terrific.

This is a good one. My AT&T 64GB Verizon, ordered 2 minutes after orders went live. Originally was the 21st. Got it expedited to the 16, slipped back to the 21st. Shipped late last night with UPS. Scheduled delivery is....wait for it...11/27. I'm in Northern California. Crazy!!

UPS site just updated to 11/23 at my office which is closed on Friday after Thanksgiving...

LOL

That is exactly what happened to me, and still showing 11/23 for my White 32gb AT&T. Read a few posts above, I got some compensation for it.

Thanks. Same to you.

FWIW AT&T users - had no problem transferring unlimited data plan from an iPad 3 to mini

Also, checking the serial from my support profile looks like these are literally coming right off the factory...mine is a week 46 which lines up with manufacturing THIS week.

Despite my Debbie-downer attitude lately.....I have some good news.

Get this.....
After a long saga of phone calls, with promises/mis-information/mistakes made by Apple each time, I finally called a forth time to discuss things with a "supervisor" as my date slipped further to 11/23.

He was very apologetic (big deal), but then offered by the following as "compensation" for the hassle:

- Refund for a Dark Grey Smart Cover I had already paid for
- Additional free Red Smart Cover
- Set of new Apple "Earpods"
- 12 watt charger.

He basically gave me a $100 on-the-fly-shopping spree, and even when over that amount. Pretty dang cool.

Incidentally, if someone else with a 12:03am pre-order gets a 11/23 date and wants to call (although there was more to it than just a date slip)......the Apple guys are not allowed to add any compensatory "lightning" products (cables, adapters, etc).

I i'm getting crap too, and all I want are my 2 mini's. I got 2 free smart covers and 2 sets of ear pods. AT&T gave my a $100 credit when I called and asked about an ipad rebate.

My AT&T mini just delivered via FedEx but my tracking still shows in shanghai like others. Very strange... Happy to get it though

Are u serious?? I couldn't imagine how that would happen...it shows in transit now?? Or does it properly show delivered??

With a sad face...mine was built the last week of September (week 39) and is still in Shanghi ......

Hope it gets here before the warranty runs out....

Ok, to update... I was on the phone with Apple arguing that I didn't order a wifi only model and where the hell is my LTE version when my wife walks by and picks up the box and says is this the wifi model I ordered for your mom for Christmas...£|£{*|!|£\¥\*{£~!!!! I am such an idiot!
Apologies to all! Here's to FedEx hopefully getting mine here by Monday....

iPad mini 16GB white AT&T that I ordered at the stroke of midnight on the preorder date...

...doesn't show on my support profile;

...still shows 21 November with standard delivery and 5 business days for shipment;

...received an email 8 full days ago that I'd be receiving a tracking number within 5 business days.

I called Apple. They said they'd comp me a Smart Cover and a 5W charger. And now 20 November shows as my delivery date with next day delivery.

Pretty disappointed, but this just is how it is now that most everyone loves Apple.

I just got an automated notice from the Apple Store saying:
"Our records indicate Next Day Shipping was added to your order. Since
your item is shipping from overseas, we are unable to guarantee Next Day
Shipping.

As a result, we’ve removed Next Day Shipping from your order and you
will not be charged."

Interestingly, it never actually showed that next day shipping had been removed - last night it still said overnight.

This is an AT&T black 64GB mini.

This morning it shipped, after being in "preparing for shipment" since the 8th. FedEx says it should be delivered by the 21st at 10:30 am.

I'm going to try my luck reserving one at the local Apple Store at 10:00pm.

Mine has said on FedEx truck for delivery since 8:30 am. But now it is the end of the day and the delivery date still says the 19th by 4:30. So I guess it is just going to sit on the truck all weekend.

Yeah, they've really allowed themselves to slip. With competition on their heels, they're going to have to step it up in customer service to stay relevant. The days of people eating up anything they put out are gone. Look at the marketshare, Android keeps gaining ground. Yeah Apple still sells millions of units, but once they drop below the 50% mark (it's WHEN, not IF), there will be a "herd mentality" shifting away... remember when people started adopting iPhone, it was a herd mentality... if friends have it, we want it. I see more and more people with SGSIII, and while they obviously don't yet have the appeal of iPhone, Samsung is a very smart company, as is google, and together they will create great things. I'm a bit disappointed to see Apple slipping, I consider myself a "fan" (not fanboy hehe).. so I want to see Apple succeed, but with no NFC, and no real new "features" to brag about in the new OS, it seems like there is some stagnation. Maybe I expect too much, but if you constantly come in first place at every attempt, then you come in second, people will be disappointed, even if you have 8 behind you.

I've been exclusively with Apple since my first Mac: Macintosh LC in 1990. The company has done great despite feature checklist competition… the demand is insanely strong… the stores do really well with customer service (remember CompUSA?)… I don't think Apple has slipped at all; rather, everyone's expectations are insanely high. Alas, I'm still really excited for iPad mini.
