It's the same as the inside of the cover, soft like it is flocked so no scratches there!

I can't speak to the KHOMO rear cover as I don't have one or an Apple Smart Cover, just the KHOMO plain smart case.
Will try to get some up later.
Looks like it - I imagine they are all from the same p,ace, just different sellersreally pleased with the fit, no movement, just sits proud of the screen and looks really good!
Have you tried connecting the lightning cable/pencil yet? Good fit?
Just received and installed my Khomo dual twill finish and am quite pleased. Great value IMHO.

Just got my iPad Pro 10.5" smart case from eBay (UK). It is pretty good, excellent fit just a few creases on the corners, but for £10 delivered I can't complain too much. Definitely my preferred style of case.

Mine came today (as posted earlier in this thread, ordered from german retailer arktis.de for 30€). Not quite sure if these two are the same/identical. If so, you got a sweet deal
I attached some pics to this post.
Cutouts are good, magnet is strong enough (front does not open when holding upside down - only when i shake it strongly).
I am very pleased - material is pu leather, not real leather. thats fine with me as long as it lasts at least two years.

Just received the Khomo rear shell or companion cover as they call it so it's just the rear cover that works with apple Smart Cover and Smart Keyboard. The color is a perfect match the Smart Keyboard and also works fine with it. All cutouts match, the camera is like the one reported above maybe 1mm not centered but absolutely fine. Inside is just like the outside so it's plastic with a soft touch feel. Not as grippy as Apple but not a 100% smooth plastic either. All ports work good and buttons are easy to click. Buttons are exposed not covered. Case comes just past the camera lens so that is protected. Cutouts for speakers and microphones are spot on. Overall a good cover and just what I was looking for. Any questions just let me know.

Quick thoughts:
- The edges of the back cover are raised above the champherred edges and the screen. Not to the level of Apple's silicone 9.7 case, but pretty good.
- The back cover thickness protects the camera lens
- The cutouts are perfect, except around the camera where it's not perfectly centered -- we're talking mm off, no functional issues at all
- The rubberized back is much more "slippery" than Apple silicone back cover for 9.7. With the Apple, I'd have difficulty sliding the iPad across the top of my TV tray (flat wood). The KHOMO is in between but closer to a leather/plastic back than it is to Apple's silicone material as far as tackiness
- Sleep/wake works
- Front cover has a bit more thickness/sturdiness than prior years Amazon sourced inexpensive iPad cases(Roark,JETech)
- Front cover does not hang over the volume button side of the iPad, making it somewhat difficult to open it without moving to the top or bottom to lift it. Magnets are good.
- Has open slots for the speakers vs drilled holes, a positive if you think volume might be a bit low on the 10.5
- No covered buttons/switches, so you're not pressing through a case to activate anything
- Inside cover material is suitably soft
- No logos on the outside of the case

Only ding I can give it is the slight misalignment around the camera. (Case depth protects the lens)
Both mic holes are spot on.

Does anyone know where I could buy the Khomo companion case where they will post to Australia? Amazon sellers with it will not post to Aus, and cant find many others selling it.

Moko fixed their issues with the early cases and sent out new cases to those who bought them. The case replacement I received fits well and works great!
Unfortunate that they rushed out a faulty product but glad they’re doing the right thing by their customers.
