Guys if someone is getting the only Khomo back case for the 10.5" iPad Pro please post your experience !

Should most cases for the new iPad Pro 10.5 inch be released by December ?

After trying out the UAG Metropolis, I have to say it's close, but not quite, what I am looking for.

It's a bit thicker than I want, and there's a looseness to the rubber shell that I'm not a fan of, so I'll probably return it.

That being said, if someone could make something similar to this, but a little slimmer and with less give to the shell, with the pencil holder, and magnetic clasp, it'd be near perfect.

I have Sena Portfolio cases on my 13" MacBook Pro Retina and 13" MacBook Air. I love their products but two years ago I got a Sena case for my iPhone 6 Plus and I had to return it back after two weeks because the gunmetal trim finish was pilling off the case. Just make sure whatever case you get from Sena does not says gunmetal trim anywhere.

Ooh not good. I didn't see any trim on the case I ordered anywhere so hopefully I should be good.

They sold prior versions of that case on Apple.com, might be some reviews on there.

The old version of the case has 2 reviews on apple. 2 stars, ouch! Complaints range from low quality leather to leaving line marks on the screen. I'll put my impressions up when I receive it.

So out of the JTech vs Khomo vs ESR 10.5 iPad Pro cases, which one do you guys think is the best to get?

According to Amazon reviews, the iBlason back cover doesn't fit with the Smart Keyboard as advertised. Mine hasn't arrived yet, so I can't confirm but it doesn't look promising

Just received this email re my i-blason back case order:

Thank you for placing your order at our i-Blason Amazon store.

Unfortunately we have identified that there is an issue with the iPadPro2017-10.5-Keyboard-Black cases you have purchased, so we have taken the decision to cancel your order.

Our design team are already rectifying the issue and we would hope to have a update version of iPadPro2017-10.5-Keyboard-Black case available on our Amazon Store within 2 - 3 weeks.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that has been caused.

Kind regards,
i-blason.com

I just got it Wednesday. I thought this WAS the updated one - it's STILL wrong.

Nope, the cutout for the magnet is a couple of millimeters too short on each end. And they were still shipping yesterday, as I just got it. The iPad was out a couple of weeks. What, no one checked yesterday before they shipped these things?

Thanks, Apple, for not providing the number two accessory (after the cover) for the 10/5 that everyone bought for every iPad previously. Well done.

Has anybody seen a third party Smart Cover only? Don’t really want a back cover but would like to have a Smart Cover for when it’s on my bag and don’t want to shell out the $50 for Apple’s

I had that case for the 97 and I've been waiting for it to show up it store. And yes, the rubber was just as loose on the 9.7. Sad they never fixed that, but that's the case I want.

I received the Khomo back case that's ASk and ASC compatible. My pictures are with the Black Apple leather cover. Overall great so far. A little more slippery than I would prefer and the edge lines up with the cover in a way that I don't always get the cover open on my first try. Minor annoyances. I've had a few of the clear ones that have been trash.

I think you're safest with KHOMO, although I'd think a clone will eventually pop up with free shipping and perhaps an even lower price. (But we're talking a few dollars here.)

Check all of the JETech and ESR Amazon reviews.

For me, the only option that might sway me is if Apple releases a silicone back shell to mate with the leather Smart Cover. That way I could choose which side to lay down -- slippery or tacky -- and the tacky silicone edges would hold the iPad in place better on fabric/cloth like sheets/sofa.

Has anyone else received the JETech case with fully open speaker cutouts? Saw some reviews with precise holes for the speakers. Didn’t know if they changed the design recently bc mine came with full cutouts
Mine is fully open (bought in UK).

I live in Japan and got a case that looks like the Khomo but it's made by a company called Leplus.

The quality is really good, I was actually quite surprised! They have a few other colors, black and I think blue. The black has a charcoal hard back and the blue I think has the same or a dark blue back.

I got the white with a clear back as I thought it looks the best. The fit is perfect, the top has cut outs for the power button and speakers while the bottom is open. It magnetic so it closes and sticks to the iPad, and when you open the cover the iPad comes on.

Compared to the Apple smart cover which is expensive, I like this better. The fact that it protects the back and looks good is a BIG PLUS.
