Yes, a springboard crash is always software related.Maybe ios10 will fix this? So frustrated. Always crashes when listening to podcast and then multitasking. Are we sure its software?
i went crash free cor a while but some apps will cause it i thinkI did the reinstall that they recommended before taking it to the store. It crashed the same day after reinstall, and one more time 6 days later (7-5-16) and as of that day, it has not crashed. Amost 2 weeks, crash free! Maybe certain apps updated and changed the circumstance.
Can someone with the iPad Pro 9.7 run iOS 10 and see if this is fixed?
any update? Any crashes?I broke down and had mine replaced last Wednesday. The techs at the Apple Store seemed quite convinced that there was a problem the memory in my iPP (and no, not the lack of it). Only time will tell, but everything has been solid so far. Fingers crossed.
Any crashes? Finally took it to the store and got a new one. I have to wait a million years now while it's reinstalling to see how it functions.
Ive just had a crash going from youtube AirPlay, to safari to answer this thread, so trading it in doesnt fix it. but much less frequent than my first oneany update? Any crashes?

Any crashes?
One crash, specifically tied to a single app. Prior to the replacement, my iPad wasn't even logging the crashes, so there is a distinct difference. The app error in the log was also something I have never seen before (vm-thrashing).any update? Any crashes?
