Still crashing on beta 4 sent another bug report. Maybe the next build will have a fix.

Oh my god I am having the same bug too! What would be the name of the relevant crash log? I know how to retrieve them but I don't know which logs record what.

Its a jetsam I think. That is what I have been sending.

Would you believe when I tapped on the email notification for your post it crashed my iPad?
[doublepost=1462846831][/doublepost]I found the Jetsam log. Does anybody know how to determine the memory footprint of each app in the log? Is that a factor of the rpages value? If yes, what is the page size on an A9 device?

I haven't had a crash in a week. Biggest change was I turned my ad blocker back on.

Only some of these Jetsam events report Safari as the largest process, so I don't think it'll be a catch-all fix. Maybe I'll try it-- but I'm worried I'll miss seeing an ad for something I like. Either way the system shouldn't be croaking.

Well I hope you're being sarcastic because Internet ads are an annoying pain in the butt for many and serve little purpose other than that.

I'm only half joking. I mean c'mon! Papa Johns has pepperoni rolls now. this is a paradigm shift
[doublepost=1462855651][/doublepost] But seriously though like half of my favorite webcomics I learned about through an ad network that functioned as a glorified webring.

Alright, back on topic. My iPad crashed again today, and this time it went under for almost a whole minute. Unlike the last time where the Jetsam log reported Springboard as the largest process and the iPad was only out for like 3 seconds, this time it pegged WebKit as the largest process. I wonder if there is a connection.
And also, we are sure 9.3.2 doesn't fix this? No official diagnosis yet? Nobody has resolved their issue? Spent like 1,500 dollars on this thing and the fact that it keeps crashing is making me nauseous.

Mine just crashed for the second time on 9.3.2 beta 4. I went about 3 days between crashes. Before it was happening every day.

I just had one on beta 4. Again with a 4 finger close gestures with Safari. It only seems to happen on mine when switching or closing apps with gestures.

My bug reports have all been flagged as a duplicate issue. I guess Apple is working on it but they havent got it fixed yet.

According to the change log there are multiple bug fixes for Webkit and the Kernal which caused memory corruption. See below......

It just crashed, so the problem is not fixed with the new update. Going to return the iPad, I expect more from such an expensive device...

On another forum somebody has already had a crash on the final version of 9.3.2. I will say that it doesn't crash everyday like it did on 9.3.1. I have been getting about one or two a week on the betas.

If it is a ram issue since it's still occurring with the new update, I would not be surprised if a small incremental release of the smaller iPad Pro occurs by the end of the year with at least 3 GB or 4 GB ram. If these crashes keep occurring, that would be the likely issue since software updates still haven't fixed it.

It's not an issue of how much RAM is on the iPad pro 9.7. The Air 2 has the EXACT same amount of RAM and no one is having issues.

Its a software bug that Apple is aware of and has told a few people will be fixed in an update. We all started commenting here mid-way through the 9.3.2 beta process so they probably weren't able to get it fixed in time.

I would suggest installing an ad blocker on safari as I've only had one crash in over a week since I turned my ad blocker on. When it was off was when I was getting almost daily crashes. Besides it could be a win/win. Less crashes and safari is a speed demon without annoying ads bogging down websites.

Which ad blocker do you use? I use "Refine", but I still have daily crashes...
