I feel so cheap seeing all the 128-256 models you guys ordered haha! I only got a 32Gb wifi gold model at 3AM EST. Fingers crossed it's in on the 31st.

Oh and btw after all these years of owning the whole suite of Apple products, this will be my first iPad!

I'm getting my other half the same! 32Gb Rose Gold - It all she needs for storage wise.

I buy high capacity simply because I like to load it up full of high bitrate video. When I'm at work I get long breaks, often away from wifi or even a signal decent enough for streaming. I like the bulletproof reliability of locally stored stuff. Can still be done with lower capacities of course, but for the financial hit it means far far less occasions connecting it to iTunes to load it up. It's worth it to me, but I'm aware that it's a bit decadent on my part.

The bummer isn't the initial outlay but the massive hit on resale 2 or 3 years down the line. High capacity iPads/iPhones don't sell for that much more on eBay than lower capacity models - some real bargains can be had if you're after a used model. I know there's 3 satisfied users of my past, max storage iPads out there, ha!

I have a question, that maybe some of you know the answer to. When I return an Apple product (for example the iPad Pro) can I later return it from a different address then it was shipped to?

I ask, because I'm thinking about using a post forwarder like MailBoxDE...

Ordered a 9.7" 128gb silver with store pick up on 3/31 from my local best buy...gotta take advantage of the 45 day return policy. Upgrading from an Air 2 128gb silver...Also, testing out a 12.9" 128 GB Silver until the 9.7" arrives thanks to staples and bestbuy price match.

I'm literally at the checkout page right now debating on if I should get it.. Ugh it's such a nice upgrade from my Air 1 but the price tag though..

Ordered early this morning. 128GB Space Black. Went back and forth between that and the gold, but don't like the white bezels. Wish they did a black front and a gold back actually. I bought the 12.9 yesterday at staples for $799 figuring that was a good deal. I'll honestly happily trade 2GB of ram for the same features in a smaller form factor. It is just too big for normal use, unless used primarily at a desk with the smart keyboard. I was really hoping it could work, but it almost feels comical using it. I think the 9.7 will be perfect for at least iOS10.

Ordered a 32gb gold LTE from T-mobile- we'll see how much of an upgrade it is from my current Air 2 16gb wifi.

Gee Apple.. You suck me in every time..

I ordered a 128 Space grey. I hemmed and hawed but ended up grabbing a smart keyboard too. I may return it, but I want to try it out for a few days. I am still contemplating which back case I want.

Space grey 32GB wifi. Already more expensive than the 64GB ipad air 2 cost me, so I'm not spending another £120 (!) to upgrade to 128GB. I already have the pencil.

I doubt I'll get the keyboard but I'll try it out in a store before getting a product red smart cover.

I'm doing the same thing. Picking up the 12.9" today to test it out while i wait for the 9.7" to come in.

Hoping Logitech comes out with the create keyboard for the 9.7". I don't mind getting the Smart Keyboard but I'll probably wait a bit on it. I prefer backlit keyboards.

they're hinting something on the logitech homepage at the moment. Personally I'd like something a little lighter than the create, and easier to get the ipad in/out of. But the keys felt great on the 12.9 version. If I can't get along with the smaller size, I'll probably just grab a cheap fullsize BT keyboard

Well, I placed my order at 3:03 a.m. EST (just after midnight on the West Coast) this morning. For an iPad Pro 9.7, in silver, 256 GB. Along with a few accessories which will arrive in a few days.

I was notified that I wouldn't receive the iPad itself until the week after next!

Maybe it was because I chose to have it personalized? When I got my iPad 2 a few years ago I had my name and e-mail address inscribed on the back, in case it was lost. I figured it would be a good thing to do with this one too. Still kind of a bummer though :-/

Wife ordered me a 128 GB iPad Pro 9.7 for my birthday. Yay!

One note for those of you who want to use Verizon as your cellular carrier with your new iPad. Remember, the Apple SIM that comes included only works with certain carriers, but NOT VERIZON.

https://www.apple.com/ipad/apple-sim/

If you want to use Verizon, during checkout when you get to the Accessories page, at the very bottom of the page is a check box to include a FREE SIM card that will work with Verizon. Check that box to receive a Verizon SIM.
