My iPad Pro sounds like an asthmatic when I press down a bit on the screen in certain areas.

Mine's got the gentle clicking sound when pressed in the bottom third or so, although it's only audible with no background noise at all, so I'm gonna try not to let it bother me. :)

Im really feeling unlucky now.. I received a unit with screen defect. Im not sure if you call it bleeding but there is a visible line on the top most left when in landscape mode. I live here in japan and I am not sure if they will ask me to return the item first before receiving the replacement. Good thing I checked it first before deciding to install the screen protector I bought from amazon. I cant wait for tomorrow so i could call them.

Mine has to go back. It has a problem where after a full charge it requires a reset (Power & Home button for 8 seconds) to be able to turn it back on.

I also noticed the friction with the screen, it does make it rather difficult to use, but since I put the tempered glass screen protector, it is MUCH better. And it works perfectly with the pencil through the screen protector.

I don't know if it's a fault but my speakers are quiet when typing or hearing a text tone, but are super good and loud when listening to music or watching a movie. Like I can still hear it but it's oddly quiet.
Typing is super quiet too, like the top speakers are set at low and won't go any higher. It is weird as the ringtones are normal and so are all other sounds except clicks, typing, and text tones.

Yep, that's the main bug. I've tried messing with the volume slider in Settings/Sounds and I can get the full volume (and it is loud!) momentarily but once I'm out of settings it's back to extremely low. I'm wondering if any of you who noticed this have gone to the 9.2 beta and did that fix it?

That's been reported by many. Also many of us who got the 6S had the issue as well. Only happened once to me with my 6S and has not recurred. It has not happened on my Pro yet but if it does I won't be surprised. Quite a few who had the problem initially with the 6S have reported that they have not had a repeat on the current 9.2 beta. I'll wait it out if it happens.

I haven't tried the beta, but I've got the same audio bug. Sounds awesome with music & movies. System sounds are too quiet, regardless of volume setting.

And for those of you posting about the grippines of the screen, that was done on purpose to make the Pencil "feel" right. Too bad there's none for purchase...!!

Purchased iPad Pro, 128GB, LTE in Space Grey.
I have been playing around with it for the past 6 hours and haven't found the fault yet :)

- NO "bleeding"
- NO "clothing"
- NO "yellowing"
- NO dead pixels
- NO "flexing" on display
- NO WiFi issues

Anyone..?

whats flexing on display? I notice if i tilt my ipad the background image seems to move down.

Mine charged super slow. It took 6+ hours to go from 12% to 100% and I used the charger and cord it came with. That's pretty disappointing.

The problem is that the iPad Pro has essentially the same sized battery as the 12" MacBook, but it doesn't have a 29W charger like the 12" MacBook. It's still using a 12W charging protocol... I really wish Apple embraced fast charging for the iPad Pro. Actually it would have been nice if it used a USB-C port instead - at least the Pencil with a male USB-C connector seems to make more sense to me than a male lightning connector....

Seem to have an issue where you press the shift button to get the above icons working on the keyboard. If I hold left shift key in and tap another key sometimes full keyboard goes grey and lettering disappears. So either a software issue or a issue from restoring a backup off my Air

I have one (Silver Wifi) that has the clicking sound and another (Space Grey Wifi) that does not.

Safari still takes forever and I find am scrolling down blank pages and have to wait until the image finally appears. I had hoped the ipad pro would not have this problem.

I'm taking it that most issues are software related then (aside from the yellow spot distortion, a screen bleed, and 2-3 creaking sounds?)
So this is like other iPad and iPhone releases... mostly good products (90%) at launch, but better when second batch hits.
Hopefully iOS 9.1.2 or whatever it will be called will fix the speaker sounds and other glitches with the keyboard and whatnot.

I'm wondering...is this the first charge? Apple does a TON of battery management engineering and I'm not really sure why 6 hours is slow when if I'm not mistaken all iPads are advertised as taking 8 for a FULL charge from zero.

Yep I am having the same problem. Bought a 128gb cellular a couple of hours ago, and I can hardly hear the keyboard clicks when typing. Still setting up, but normal volume seems okay.

Mine arrived today. I think it's a fantastic device, but before even powering it up found two size able scratches on the back. Not happy considering I brought the $1079 model, not that it would be less concerning on the 799 model. Now the wait on a replacement because they are a few weeks out now.

You should be able to get a replacement straight away. Think Apple keeps stock separate for replacements...

I wonder if that is intended. I don't want my clicks as loud as e.g. music playback etc.

Mine has two dead pixels, a backlight issue at the top of the screen and a wonky home button that sometimes registers a double press instead of a asingle press. Not to mention the iPad wobbles on the table? Not by much but if you press on the left or right side the other side lifts up from the table.
Talk about bad luck eh.
