What a fiasco but "just now" ordered for TODAY pickup (MIA). Trying to figure how bag works exactly lol.

128 GB WiFi + Cellular and Apple Cae

However, the Pencil and Keyboard is a mid DEC delivery (yikes). So ordered the keyboard for delivery (since I don't really need it just want to play with it and may kee it), and will try to scoop up the Pencil in store in the next few weeks.

Best,

JS

I can just see people using these at concerts for photos. As if the mini wasn't bad enough at those events. Lol
yep.... while people in the back can't see the event due to the enormous slate blocking their vision...
You should buy a bunch of them in the US & sell for a profit in the UK :)
would you like to speak about italian prices ? iPad Pro starts at 919€ (do your math !) ... As I said elsewhere, the pricing is totally wrong IMHO, by at least 150-200€

Bummers - not sure why. I wonder if non iPad Pro users scooped them up in the hopes of using the pencil for their iPads.

Just spoke to my local store in Oz and they have them in store for purchase today - might head off a little early today. No pencils though - should be in within the next week (online says 2-4 weeks).

Apple did too good of a job selling me on 3D Touch that neglecting to include it in the Pro version of the iPad has me holding off until next year. Muscle memory for 3D Touch will quickly become annoying when pressing deeper does nothing on the iPad Pro.
What is '3D Touch'? A pressure sensitive touch screen?

Yes, but it also runs the exact same Adobe app that runs on an iPhone.

Adobe really needs to up their game on the app side if they want creative pros to use their software on an iPad Pro.

Other apps such as Graphic will step in and offer Creative Suite-like features if Adobe does not.

This is the main reason I'm waiting a few months on buying the iPad Pro: pro-ready apps likely won't be there at launch.

Agree, I have to question Adobe's strategy right now. They seem comfortable and not really innovating or changing. They recently came out saying they were looking at numerous graphics accelerators and haven't committed to metal. Both Lightroom and Photoshop for iPad Pro don't do much more than the old iPhoto for iOS app.

Adobe's future could be really jeopardized if AutoDesk decides to make a competing product to Photoshop. AutoDesk Smoke is already light years ahead of Premiere and After Effects in my opinion. We'll see what happens. I really question what's going on over at Adobe.
