iPad Pro Pre-Order Thread (Official Release)

I was able to order the 128gb Space Gray, Smart Keyboard and Pencil and saw the shipping lag. Then poked around the site and it popped up all three available at the Manhasset store but no where else in New York. That store is three minutes from my house. Thanks to all who posted the the links because the Apple website cheesed on this one. Now I am trying to buy a silicone case (I'm a dummy) and can't find a way to buy it now.

Am I the only one concerned that we all have these supposedly available for pickup today ? Just hoping this is not a glitch and we don't find out in a few hours not actually available especially with the fact that the online store itself still only allows you to order if you come in a certain way.

lol I'm kind of bleh on getting the pencil and keyboard next week. But I'm okay with getting the iPad Pro on Friday. Although crazy I could have gotten it today in store. Wonder why they don't ship Thu instead of Friday of they have in store pickup today.

Also, I'm going from gold back to space gray. Hope I don't regret that.

Damn! I forgot about educational pricing!! I already purchased my iPad Pro for in store pick-up. Will Apple allow me to use my student ID to get the discount? Also, I would prefer to use Discover card with Apple Pay in-store...will they allow me to change my billing/purchase method??

That's funny, I got the case, cover and iPad for pickup at Roosevelt Field store for later today.

When I placed my order only Manhasset & Soho were available. I ordered the Apple Pencil when it went live, shortly after that the iPad Pro went live and same two stores were listed. After I was done with my order, all the other NYC stores lit up.

I just ordered it from the education store as provided by the link. i never bought from the education store and as far as i know the order is billed at full price which i have yet to be charged for. Will this complicate things or will it ship and be here as normal if im not a student?

no store in atlanta has the pencil (i checked socal, nyc, and a bunch of other places i have friends and no store had pickup). pickup is available at all the atlanta stores for the 128gb space grey + cellular. was i supposed to put the verizon sim card in my cart? i noticed that popped up after i placed my order. wont let me add it now without a qualifying purchase. guess i'll ask at the store.

I had that thought, but, I noticed that not all of the 3 stores near me had all of the items available. I suspect it's possible that it's a glitch and I'm not holding my breath over it, but, given the "texture" of availability being inconsistent, I think it's just possible a lot of us are going to go pick up these things a few days earlier than anticipated.

Don't make the mistake I made. I hit engrave and it pushed my ship date by a few days.

Just to be safe i cancled the order i placed from the link and then re ordered from the standard buy now page. Sucks the pencil might not be here untill after thanksgiving though. Hope to god they dont double bill me.

Since this is available on Friday for walking, maybe the pre-orders will be available tomorrow. Either way, we are in at the ground floor and it seems unlikely that the Apple Watch trickle shipping will be at play here. I hadn't intended to do a store pick-up, but was pretty pissed about the shipping being later than the in-store availability for Friday.

I saw people that got their order in the second it went live, say that it was 5-7 days for Pencil. Did anyone here get a Friday the 13th ship date for Pencil alongside the iPad?

I got my order in pretty quick, and pencil and Smart Cover were already 5-7. Looked back at orders that were ahead of me (people that were refreshing the right page and who got their order in first), and they too got 5-7 days for the accessories.
