Perfectly happy with my mini 2.Apple has never forced iPad users to buy an iPad with cellular included.
It doesn’t. Even the $5000 Apple XDR Monitor with MiniLED has blooming on actual reviews.Quote:
miniLEDs allow precise dimming without producing LED backlight issues such as “blooming” (aka “halo effect”).

Winning the Game of Contrast: MiniLEDs and Local Dimming Displays | Radiant Vision Systems
To compete with the superior contrast ratio performance of OLED display screens, LCD makers have developed the technique of local dimming, which allows different regions of a backlight to be controlled independently. The introduction of miniLEDs for LCD backlights, especially in full-array...www.radiantvisionsystems.com
Hard pass on 5G.
I am still doubting it. Just look how long it took Apple to release an OLED iPhone which did not even make it on its whole line up yet
It's also far from the best OLED display in the market. Apple LCD displays were top notch.
A+ with the nice yellow tint.Apple's new iPhone 11 Pro Max has earned display testing and calibration firm DisplayMate's "highest ever A+ grade" for providing "considerably better display performance than other competing smartphones."

Which is why you return it until you get one you're satisfied with. There is no company on earth that only produces 100% defect-free products.A+ with the nice yellow tint.
Which isn’t the case for at least 95% of users.A+ with the nice yellow tint.
That is so true. a complete waste of money both upfront & recurring each month. Just use your data from your phone, get unlimited & use 2 devices.tether
Would be a perfect test of the gaming credentials of the A14x, especially if the bump the RAM up to 8Gb.
I chose a cellular iPad mini over an iPhone. It's cheaper to buy and cheaper to run - I pay C$5/mo for data and C$20/yr for an app that lets me make and receive phone calls. Plus I have a bigger screen than the biggest iPhone. Admittedly an actual smartphone works more smoothly for making and receiving calls, and I can't run the Watch app on my iPad, so I might eventually get the setup you suggest, @kiranmk2.I don't understand why people need a cellular iPad when they can tether to their iPhones.
The real iPad Pro update. Not that money grab that was just released.
A money grab? They’re not getting any more money than they were before. They’ve put more lenses and tech in a system and didn’t raise the price, seems like a money loss to me.The real iPad Pro update. Not that money grab that was just released.
If this is true then they should never have launched this year’s model. It was such a tiny upgrade.
That's typical Apple MO. When they need to buy time for releasing a new product they give the old one a tiny spec bump.
This is probably true for a majority of users, but there are many cases where a cellular iPad is better. A couple examples...I don't understand why people need a cellular iPad when they can tether to their iPhones.
Replace “money grab” with “pointless“ then.A money grab? They’re not getting any more money than they were before. They’ve put more lenses and tech in a system and didn’t raise the price, seems like a money loss to me.
