Really pleased with battery life on my new 11 pro. I’ve had 3 days of light use out of a single charge, and still had 25% left At bedtime on third day.

However, I am getting dropped calls repeatedly. Tried resetting network settings, even upgrading to 13.2 beta, but it is still dropping calls, sometimes repeatedly within a few minutes. When it happens, the signal strength still shows 1 or 2 bars (this is normal from my home office) and my iPhone 8+ continues to work fine.

This is the last time I upgrade straight away to a new release!

I notice that as well in the beginning when I first got my 11 pro max, With the update I think thats been fixed now

Do me a favor... be on a call, send yourself a email and see if the moment your email hits inbox is when call is ending?

I’ve been having a horrible time with dropped calls and it’s related to stock Mail app and receiving mail notification while in a call.

Let me know please

Discovered if I disable notifications for stock Mail app the dropped calls stop. I’ve temporarily switched to Email by Edison but still not sure what underlying issue is with Mail notifications promptly dropping calls.

interesting. I only have Edison and deleted the stock Mail app. I guess the polling mechanism is worth removing from the equation though. I will have a play.

Yeah weird. I just now figured my mess out today. It’s weird doesn’t do it with Edison for me; moment regular Mail app receives a email though my call ends

Same issue for me. I'm on AT&T. Other ppl are reporting the same. Few have said that they started getting dropped calls after upgrading to the 11 pro. I went from 7 plus to 11 pro. Never had dropped calls issues with the 7 plus.

Pro Max here on Sprint. Never had issues with my 10S Max. Got calls dropping constantly with new 11 Pro

One dropped call so far on my 11 Pro. I'm on VZW. My instinct tells me it had to do with the Intel Modem Chip. I had a X with Qualcomm and never had a dropped call.

I have had a few, but really no more than my XR. I am on Verizon and suspected it was the intel modem also

Currently in dialogue with Apple about this issue. They have asked me to replace the SIM (it is 2 years old and carried over from 8+) but I am a bit sceptical about this. I do not get the dropped calls on the 8+ With the same SIM. Having to do this just to tick a box and remove it from equation.

My iPhone 11 pro unlocked with Verizon is dropping a ton of calls

I never had this issue with my old XS.

I notice even with full bars it drops the Call and shows call failed.

should I take my phone back to apple and exchange it? Anyone else have this issue?

Apple will ask if you have tried resetting network settings first. I would try that and see if your problem persists.

If you live close to a Verizon store I would try and have them take a look (maybe there's a setting they can fix).

Otherwise, yeah, I've managed to get an iPhone X replaced for poor signal quality before. Can't hurt to ask (if you live close).

Hope it works out :)

Hello there

You can try to remove the SIM card and put it back. Try the SIM in another phone, if not locked.

Same thing happened to me on my original pro max on Verizon. Returned and exchanged for a new pro max and no longer an issue. Sometimes the phones are just faulty. I would exchange it before your 14 day period is over.

I still cannot believe how the masses do not realize that this phone with its mediocre Intel modem and antenna design is a piece of crap. I knew it when I switched on my 11 pro for the first time, only having 2 bars where I had full reception with my previous iPhone X. And please dont give me the "bars have nothing to say" ********. As soon as I enter buildings, phone calls drop, my reception goes down to "Edge".

I'am having the same issue with AT&t, i could be on a call, full signal, and all of a sudden it goes quiet for a few seconds, and a few seconds later you hear the beep, beep, beep when like ending a call, I thought it was At&t, but know after reading the comments here its not just At&t, it could well be the iPhone Pro Max.

It could be the 13 update. I have a 8+ and still the 13 update my call quality has dropped, messages aren't coming through. My carrier said they have had other complaining of same issues. I have reset the network settings. I'm hoping the new update will fix the issues whenever it comes out.

it’s too early to tell for me if the calls will drop. Normally it’s when I am connected to blue tooth.
I heard the next update won’t fix it since people are trying the beta and still have issues.
