So from what I gathered online, it has to do with LTE. I disabled LTE on my phone and will monitor over the next few days. Allegedly 13.2 is supposed to fix the issue.

Over in the U.K on Three network, no issues at all with my Pro. That’s in some very poor signal areas as well.

Drive around the countryside all day, using phone for text, music streaming, podcasts, email and maps. I’ve not encountered a single dropped call, and I’ve received and sent all the texts/iMessages I should have.

I still cannot believe how the masses do not realize that this phone with its mediocre Intel modem and antenna design is a piece of crap. I knew it when I switched on my 11 pro for the first time, only having 2 bars where I had full reception with my previous iPhone X. And please dont give me the "bars have nothing to say" ********. As soon as I enter buildings, phone calls drop, my reception goes down to "Edge".

I agree 100% big deception on the part of Apple. I have noticed, however, that at the office my signal is much better than the XSMax. So perhaps something has changed.

I had similar issues until I realised the below was active.

So I narrowed down the issue. It only happens when I am on a call and receive a notification. Is this a common cause between all of us?

Hmmm. I am at a loss I was sure that was it. I have a genius appointment for tomorrow guess I will try swapping phones.

Well I wish I could film it. The call fails every time I get a notification. If all notifications are off I am good. Can’t decide whether to wait for iOS 13.2 or go for the swap.

This is happening with my iPhone X as well. This issue started after updating to 13.1.2
I have tried all the common resets, and restores, and factory defaults. Issue still happens with every call.
I have apple care+ and will be making an appointment to see if my X will be exchanged. This issue is serious as I use my phone for work and its a big problem.

Ok. Everyone try turning off volte. Seems to work fine. I am convinced it is notification and/or iOS 13 related. Volte off I have zero issues. With it on I can make it happen on demand.

That completely solves the problem. Crappy solution but solves the problem.

I was told that the issue has to do with LTE and that the 13.2 will fix it. Told being me doing research on the internet. It really comes down to the crappy Intel modems.

I can confirm that the calls still fail after 1-3 min with this update. So disappointed with Apple.

So you back to disabling LTE? I had a call today that lasted 32 minutes with no drops. Fingers crossed this has resolved it for me. Looks like my bluetooth issue maybe resolved as well.
