I hate to even say it and jinx myself - but so far cellular performance is much improved. I ... haven’t had a dropped call since the update. Is this too good to be true? Too early to say 100% but I can’t remember the last time I went through an entire morning without a dropped call, and I’ve been in meetings (conference calls)since 7am.

Still having good luck with 13.3 Cyberius?

Yes! The cellular performance is roughly the same as my old X so far. No dropped calls or fade outs. Crossing my fingers that it stays this way. It’s actually usable now.

My AirPods still pop and crackle but that’s an entirely different annoyance that Apple is aware of and are supposedly working on a fix.

I picked up an 11 pro max and switched to Verizon from att.
In the few days I’ve owned it now, I’ve not had one dropped call, and I make quite a few calls. My co worker I spoke of earlier is still having issues with his. I tried to talk him into swapping to a new one, but not sure why he hasn’t yet.

So is it safe to say iOS 13.3/Verizon Carrier 40.0 took care of all of your issues? Still problem-free?

After continued use it seems the majority of the 11 Pro problems are resolved. However, there are still "new" dead zones where the phone signal fades out in areas where my X never had problems. I have had no dropped calls recently, and most fadeouts are resolved, but the modem is clearly not as capable as the X: at least not in my area. Perhaps future firmware updates / carrier updates will resolve those issues as well, but at this point the 11 Pro goes down as the most disappointing iPhone purchase I've ever made.

I had that same hopeful attitude with both my iPhone X units and it was to no avail. :(
I eagerly wait for Apple to release the iPhone 12 Pro Max next fall... but I do hope that the flaw infested iPhone 10 & 11 were just growing pains for Apple and not an example of Apple's "new normal".

This thread saved me from buying another $1100 i-disaster.
Thank you all for your continued input here.👍
