So while we wait what is everyone doing with their old iPhones?

Keeping
Selling
Or trading in?

Gazelle - $543 for my iPhone XS 256 GB, $43 more than Apple would give me. I’ve always had a good experience sending in my phones to Gazelle. Used Nextworth one time and it was a disaster. Although one could probably get more money selling, it’s too much work/risk for the added money IMO.

I have a trade in box coming, so I’ve got a week or so to decide. My X is nearly 2 yrs old, 97% battery and mint condition with extras, so it would be nice to get more than the $400 trade in but dealing with strangers stresses me out. I can’t justify keeping it. So, probably trade it in.

Anyone know when we will see the movements?

where are you reading they overloaded planes?

UPS runs a very sophisticated shipping system. Phones are on pallets then loaded into shipping containers, then weighed. Then they are loaded on planes, up to the max cargo weight they can carry. So, no there are no overloaded planes and no delays...fake news. And the only way to judge where your phone may be in the shipping process is guesstimating...based on when you see a depature scan and going to a site like flightaware and seeing what UPS flights departed around tha time...

Changed my phones to hold at CC, which opens at 7am. I’ll have to drive about 5 miles to get them but better than missing them at home.
Which option did you chose?
[doublepost=1568592560][/doublepost]So it looks like my iPhone has a ups scanned which is good nothing for apple watch! Maybe it will show up tomorrow!

I’m just glad my iPhone has a scan

Anyone know when we will see the movements?

My iPhone X last year sat in China all the way through Wednesday even though it was picked up by UPS on Monday. Same for a lot of others at the time and everyone was freaking out that they wouldn’t get their phones on launch day, that Friday...Wednesday night it went from China to Alaska, then Thursday it was in Louisville and at my door Friday afternoon. So you may not see any other updates for another few days...

I live in the white mountain national forest in NH. Anything in the north ⅓ of the state is rural. We have rural USPS service (neighborhood mailroom), rural UPS/FedEx service which is a whole another story. Often the packages get transferred to someone who delivers them in their personal car as a subcontractor for a contracted privately owned FedEx/UPS delivery service. Nothing like seeing a beat up toyota with no hubcaps, a bunch of dents, and chipped paint delivering your package. It usually takes postal mail a 4-5 days just to get 180 miles away to central Massachusetts. It is like this in many rural areas across the country. My mail man drives a 15 year old station wagon as his delivery car.
We have that in OK. The homemade Right Hand Drive is my faveee

Yes I was freaking out this morning lol!!! Go to previous post almost had a stroke!!!
You're gonna a stroke yourself out before Friday at this rate if you dont calm down. I know I know were all 5year old at Christmas but calm down for real. Trust Apple; they're a multi million/billion? dollar corporation. They're not newcomers and this isnt their first rodeo. They cant afford to drop the ball.

Interesting. I just went on the apple app to see what the shipping dates are like. It’s Oct 4 - 7 but you can still reserve to pick up in store on launch day.
