Called UPS and was told that my package DOES NOT require a signature. Not sure why it would be different or why the email specifically says signature required, but she looked it up and said no. I guess I just trust her?

I went and changed my package to be picked up at UPS CC by me. Now I am see an exception in the UPS app. If I look at the tracking I see no such exception, I also do not see mention of pickup at UPS CC. Anyone else see this?

It's normal it goes away after a bit.

the exception is because you changed the delivery method. It will go away next scan. Everything is fine.

Got a departure scan from Louisville! I’m only about 3 hours away! Talked to my local CC and she made a note to watch for my phones and hold them. She said she gets there at 3am and I could call anytime to check to see if they were unloaded and come after them so going to check at 5:30 when I take the hubby to work and go from there and if not, I’ll go on my way to work. Woohoo!

well that's a change for me! just got the notification on my watch that my band order shipped and it's coming UPS this time (or at least that is where the tracking link takes me to: UPS... but it's not showing up there yet?) I've ordered a ton of bands in the past and the fedex guy has always brought them.

Cool.. my watch is taking its sweet time getting the update yawn.

Nothing to get worried about- all that means is that you made a change to the original delivery plan.

I have my UPS account set to upgrade every SurePost (USPS) delivery to regular UPS and it always posts that Exception until the next scan when it shows the change was processed.

You are good.

Why is UPS telling some people holds aren't allowed? Mine went through online just fine but some are saying Apple didn't allow it.

Another scan baby! Thanks everyone for hanging in there! Mine is now headed to the best state in the U.S., Maine. Hope my local UPS CC actually holds if for me tomorrow rather than sending out for delivery, so i can pickup after work! My UPS CC has hours of 4-6pm (would be nice to have before work but I did not have a choice unless I wanted to fake sick from work) .....lmao like what kind of joke hours are those and how does someone survive/make a living off that... this local UPS CC is literally open 5 days a week / 2 hrs each day (same 4-6pm mon-fri.).... it just seems bizarre to me.

If you are not running the 13 or 13.1 beta, then you can just restore from your backup. 12 is fine if you are not running beta.

How is 12 fine to restore from? You cant restore an iOS 12 backup on an iOS 13 phone. My understanding is that the phones were shipping with iOS 13 on them.
