My tracking didn't say it did but UPS told me yes. Now UPS is telling some people no sooooo idk what to believe at this point. If getting it tomorrow is super important I would plan on being there to sign.
Highly recommend you print out the release form from UPS and tape it to your door. My local UPS driver made me sign for the new Airpods a few months back. :) Most are trained to ask for signature it related to all Apple products, regardless of whether Apple requires it or not.

Ended up getting this screen protector https://amzn.to/31x5XsO the other day when I looked it wasn't shipped by amazon so it was going to take like a week to get it but now its Prime so it will be here Saturday.

They only ask if it's needed at their discretion or required by the shipper. They have no idea what's in the box. Also there is no official release form.

Got my departure scan, and it's on it's way to Dallas. Picking up at CC at 4:30 pm (that's when they open). In the past I normally have it delivered to work, but in the rush this time I didn't change the delivery address.

Already upgraded to iOS13!

Interesting, I haven't seen any departure from Louisville yet. I wonder if they fly or drive. There was a 3:38 UPS flight that left for DFW.

That's so annoying! I'd really like to have a date for when the phone is required back.

Im pretty sure that we have the 14 day return window to send back our old phone, but we should verify with Apple.

If you sent your old phone back and then decided that you didn’t want the new phone and returned it, too, you’d have nothing, and Apple won’t send the old phone back to you.

Yeah, it's 14 days...here is the legal part about it from the IUP terms...

Prompt Return of Financed iPhone. If you exercise your Upgrade Option and do not return your original Financed iPhone as directed by Apple within 14 days, your original Installment Loan will be reinstated and you will be responsible for any missed and/or remaining installment payments, as well as any installment payments under your New Installment Loan.

You have 14 days its in the email sent out today. The only time they send it back is if the value is less than what they originally said due to condition you have the option to decline and have it sent back.

got a several chances to hop a flight to socal:

DEPARTURE SCAN!

mine is probably on this flight!

I looked at my travels for last year, and the funny thing is it went from Louisville to Sylmar! It never showed Ontario in the mix.

No departure scan yet for me!

I got at 8am Sep 20 New Zealand time.

So after talking with @upshelp they are telling me that the shipper blocked any changes being made to the shipment meaning I can’t have it held at any UPS location. Thanks apple:mad:
I get that a lot when I order from Apple and they use fedex, I get a voice message stating that due to the shippers restriction, I need to contact Apple to lift the restriction. Well Never called Apple and never had any issues and was able to pick it up at the fedex ship and print center. I'm certain that even Apple places a shipper restriction on those and I never had any issues pick it up at the UPS CC despite that fact that there is a shipper restriction in place.

Hmm Redirecting it to the UPS store that is three streets from my house changes the delivery date to Monday. Is that really true? My UPS store is open on Saturday

A lesson for all of us:

I’d still put a signed release on the door if you don’t mind them leaving it on the porch. I do that even if I’m home in case I don’t get to the door in time. It’s at the drivers discretion whether or not he leaves it in any case.

I thought the same thing. No later than what?
It usually is 14 days from when you receive your new phone.

Just talked to the UPS contractor (they drive uhaul) who was delivering my amazon package. Asked her if i would need to sign for the iPhone. She said no but to put in the notes a safe location where to drop it off (like inside the screen door).

Looks like mine will be leaving Louisville at around 3:29 AM EDT, and arriving in Mather, CA at 4:50 AM PDT. the last two flight before then have already left and I still only have an import scan at Louisville.
