Easiest pre-order ever and I didn’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to go it! Order placed and confirmed by 8:03am. I wanted green but went with the silver 11 Pro 256gb and my husband got a space gray 11 Pro 256gb.
 
Based on store pickup availability (DC metro), iPhone 11 Pro Max in Midnight Green sold out the fastest. But it took a full 12 minutes, slower than last year’s XS Max Gold which sold out around 1-2 minutes.
 
I guess no unlocked devices for launch day delivery. Thanks, Apple.
If you read the note it says that almost every phone sold on the Apple store is unlocked. The only way I could get a locked phone, and they list all of the choices, is to get one under ATT Next. Every other option was unlocked.

11 Pro Max 512 in green Sep 20th delivery. Already in upgrade program and preorder took about 10 seconds to do thru app. Fastest way to preorder.

ordered through the app - 11 Pro Max 256gb in Gold unlocked. Email confirmation just arrived and is Sept 20
 
While it is no guarantee, that happened to me twice in the last three years, and both times was moved up to the correct date
That is why I'm holding out hope that mine will move up since the same thing happened to me (first time ever)....so I'm really hoping it moves up....but if it doesn't before I leave for Cairo I will probably cancel....we will be gone from the 26th until the 4th of October... :(

Yup, interesting still saw a Pro Max 512 Green available like 2 mins ago in Virginia
 
Well that was frustrating. I watched someone else's Apple Store come to life at 8am while mine was still "coming soon" at 8:05am. Do I kill the app and lose my place in line or kill a stuck app? I killed it and was able to get my order in. Still getting delivery on Friday!

You don’t leave the app open. You have to force kill and relaunch every time. Do this as fast as possible near launch time.
 
Preordered 11pro, 64gb, midnight green, tmobile and 11pro max 64gb, mid. green, tmobile.

Only completed the 64gb successfully. Had to change the 11pro max to 256gb to get a 9/20 delivery date.
 
Ditched the bigger size this year and am going with the pro instead of the pro max. I’m a little surprised that the pro screen is a bit smaller than the iPhone 11 screen. Can someone explain why?
 
Finished my order at 8:03 AM! 11 pro midnight green with 256 GB. Ready for pickup at the Apple Store at 8 AM on 9/20!

Got in right at 8am EST. The Apple Store app is THE way to go each and every launch day! Still hasn’t failed me!

I used to always do in store pickup but these past few years there’s always a 30-45min line just for in store pickup orders. This year I figured out how to change my shipping address to my office. Shipping it straight there. Will be much much easier.
 
I forgot to change my ApplePay option on my phone. The Apple Store App on the phone came up first, before Safari on the desktop.

Anyway, the charge went to my bank card instead of my Apple Card. I can't cancel, or make any changes to the order, at least for a couple of hours... Also Apple Chat and Phones aren't taking any calls, to head this off...

Never had them unreachable before nor not be able to make changes immediately.
