Carrier iPhone 11, Pro, Pro Max (2019) Apple Store US Pre-orders, Orders and Delivery Status Thread

Ditched the bigger size this year and am going with the pro instead of the pro max. I’m a little surprised that the pro screen is a bit smaller than the iPhone 11 screen. Can someone explain why?

It was like that last year too, with the XS vs the XR.

Yes you can. If it shows your phone number you hit the bottom option that says buy a new phone then the sim free option is under the carriers it’s there for all models.

you misunderstand me. I ordered a sim-free version just fine. It’s just that it will be Monday, September 23 delivery.

It won’t UPS isn’t allowed to deliver early. It likely won’t even be in the US until Thursday

If you read the note it says that almost every phone sold on the Apple store is unlocked. The only way I could get a locked phone, and they list all of the choices, is to get one under ATT Next. Every other option was unlocked.

I do see that. Bit late now, and I didn’t want to risk any issues. Hopefully my sim-free version will bump from the 23rd to the 20th.

I ordered a Pro Max clear case on Wednesday from the Apple store. Will be delivered today.

Anyone’s order still on hold? I ordered a 64 Gold Pro and it still hasn’t updated to processing. It said when I ordered that I got launch day delivery but now I’m getting nervous

Yeah, I had a bit of a change of plans so I ordered a cheap plastic Max case on Amazon and then ordered the Apple Case.

I have an IUP order for the Pro and a full payment for Pro Max. I'm only keeping one.

Now on phone said September 27-October 1, but when I look at order it says order placed but on hold "pending approval" so WTF did I do a preapproval for? I suppose since I had to put the card info back in that messed it up??? But it said done when I did that and now this this is the worse one of the preapproval/iUP things I ever did. I need to plan my schedule next 3 weeks and they are messing me up. Not a happy camper... grrrrr

Ordered a green pro max and a gold pro both deliver Sept 23rd. Wonder if that will be flipped to Friday once everything goes through?

2 - green pro max 256 and 2- silver pro 256 all IUP pre-approved and all expected 9/20. (I have lots of kids)

I'll probably try to have mine held at the customer center since my UPS delivery is usually later in the day. My customer center is 15 min away so easy to do - although last year 1 of 2 phones got on the wrong truck so I had to come back the next day.
