Is the address zoned and taxed as business property? That’s what decides whether it is a business or not. Screwed over refers to something done deliberately to put someone in an unfavorable situation. I doubt the handheld computer that directs the driver where to go was overridden by somebody higher up in the chain of command to single out your package to have a delivery attempt after a business is closed. I asked my UPS driver that stops at my store twice a day and he told me they aren’t in the business of screwing people over. You are the victim of happenstance, not getting screwed over.

I purchased a $20 screen protector yesterday. Darn thing wouldn’t stay on my phone and kept peeling up and collecting dust under it. I went to Walmart and got one for $4 after returning the other. The $4 protector from Walmart is working perfectly.
I got the Spigen Glastr $11 on amazon for 2 with 2 applicators. Defiantly worth it they are pretty nice.

UPS screwed me over again. I had my iPhone 11pro shipped to my workplace that closes at 6:00 PM. My tracking on Friday, Sept. 20, said out for delivery by 3PM. The attempt wasn't made until 7:30 p.m. I would have stuck around but I had another job to get to. But I did that the last time and 8PM cam and went without a delivery attempt. Grr.....

Yes, UPS a very large multinational package delivery and supply chain management company set out to screw you over....lol. What is so special about you that they went out of their way to make your life hard. Get over yourself.

Ugh I hate when people think their package is more important than all the others on the truck that day.

Learned from my past iPhones and put my screen protector on when my phone is new. Found waiting and putting it on after the screen is dirty and scratched makes it super hard to get it applied and looking nice.
Slapped my spigen glass screen protector and apple leather case before even powering on my 11 pro. I’m with you on that one.

I just got my iphone 11 in yesterday (on the 21st). Based on the number Iphones in the store this year, i think going forward, i would rather pick up the phone at the store instead of ordering online. I'll probably order just as a protective layer to ensure i have a phone but I'll probably expect to return it. Also, I bothered me that the UPS guy came at 7pm and since he required a signature, i missed my window.

Hmmmm, my 9/27-10/1 shipment was showing a Thursday delivery yesterday but today its showing the following Monday? Why would it take 7 more days to get here? Very strange.

Apple says you can use IUP with T Mobile.
Is your T Mobile account restricted or you have less than 12 payments left on your current phone?

I think you misunderstood my question. I was asking can they change the sim free phone to iUP. Anyways i went to store and they couldn’t do it as they said that simfree phone doesn’t come with a sim and iUP phone has to have a sim.

Tried night mode outside my home.

For those who held at a UPS store, did yours arrive on 9/20 or was it delayed? I've done the CC in the past but the UPS store is more convenient.

My 10/3-7 SB Ti watch just shipped and this thread is still somewhat alive while the watch one is not.

At what stage does the previous iUP loan get put on hold? When Apple says it has shipped? It’s frustrating to have to pay an extra payment on the phone that’s about to be sent back.

My wife and I just ordered yesterday so we’re 2-3 weeks out for delivery.
This isn’t a problem.
The issue I do have, and it really irks me to no end, is AT&T is our carrier. Even though we purchased the phones outright (no installment plan) they insist on the phones being delivered to our home. They will not allow delivery to our local Apple Store. By doing this we had to pay a boat-load of sales tax. If delivered to the Apple Store we would have saved about $184!

Do we have to be home for the delivery or can we pre sign for it like in years past?
I've read that this year Apple did not include the pre-sign authorization on the order status. I don't think UPS has them either but I've read that some had some laying around previous years in regards to the pre-sign form I guess.

You do not have to be home but that depends on the driver and if the driver feels like signature is necessary or not. If the UPS driver does feel the necessary for the signature and no one is home, then they will not deliver it and be the 1st missed attempt. Sometimes they will just redirect it to your local UPS Store.

Other option is if you have UPS CC near you, I'd choose that option and just request a hold for pick up.

ok thanks I know we wont be home since we work that is why I was asking. I will look for that UPS pre sign paper online and give that a try. The worse that happens is they don't leave it. thanks for your help.

why not just check your surrounding stores for stock each day and cancel your online order?

Simply don't order from AT&T. Cancel your AT&T order and purchase at your nearby Apple store or reserve as soon as the option opens to allow reserves for AT&T iPhones start again at Apple simply order from Apple for pickup at the Apple store. You will save the taxes.

If you order from a carrier they ship to your address and taxes are based on your address!

Third time's a charm!

09/23/2019 8:30 A.M.Dallas, TX, United StatesOut For Delivery Today

Happy for you. We of the 9/27-10/1 crowd find our phones still stuck in China due to logistical/customs issue. It first looked like we would get them early then it got stuck in China... would love to have a fixed day I know I can try to be around but those are running out if it does not get here in next week.... I prefer to have it delivered the day they get it rather than pickup but might not have choice given these issues
