My old iPhone 7 is worth only $100 on a trade-in, yet it's pristine. Case and screen protector from day one. I can get way more for it in a private sale. However, I'm going to hold on to it for a while as a backup. Wife and kids all have the same iPhone 7 so if anything goes wrong with theirs we have a replacement on hand.
So the Apple trade in partner only offered you $100 for the trade in? That sucks. I wonder how low they’re gonna value my mint xr. Can I reject their offer and ask for it to be returned so I can sell it myself?

My T-Mobile 64GB 11 Pro Midnight Green iUpgrade which had an initial delivery date of 10/14-10/21 moved to Preparing to Ship today.

Yet another day gone by without a word about my “three day” inspection for my trade in. And not a word of help from AppleSupport on twitter either. This is getting ridiculous.

When I asked Apple today they said “the trade in process can take up to 3 weeks” I said ok but it says right on my order that I will have an update on the inspection within 3 days. It’s been 7. So yes I understand from the time I receive the kit to the time I get the credit can be 3 weeks but the inspection shouldn’t be taking 7 days when you say 3 max.

Perfectly said. Don’t advertise if you don’t deliver.

So the guy actually told me the inspecting status last 14 days. I said oh why 14 days specifically is it so I can’t return my other device? He said yes it’s for the buyers remorse period. I said ok so your telling me 14 days but I should have had an update on the inspection in 3 days which would have been Monday at the latest. He goes yeah I’m not to sure why you haven’t received that. Now waiting for a supervisor

Looks like despite it saying you will get an update within 3 days they actually wait 14 to change the status that way you can’t return the device you bought when you did the trade in. Why it says 3 days I have no clue

you would think that tomorrow (15 days since getting our phones) or Monday we would see something.

Approved for the full $600 as well, from XS Max 64gb. First time I’ve been on Iup, have always been on the att Next12 and I paid the XS Max off just before preorder.

Just checked my email and I received an Apple gift card for $30.52? It doesn’t say what it’s for, but it shows my phone number and IUP as a reference? Does anyone know what that’s about?

Did you trade in an IUP phone?
I traded in my xr that I purchased directly from T-Mobile.

Edit: I sent Apple a text and it’s a credit for an amount over my trade in value. Since I’ve paid the majority of the phone off through citizen one only a portion of the trade in value was applied to the loan. Problem solved.

Shame people haven't been posting their unboxings! I love seeing people receive their device and open it!
