I guess I’ll post this here to try and sort of keep the thread alive.

I picked up my Apple series 5 44mm watch today. I’ve never had an Apple Watch and I purchased it solely for fall detection. I have some health issues and just wanted piece of mind when my wife travels out of town. So far, I’m still learning all that the watch has to offer and I’m loving the display. I hope everyone is enjoying their new phones and watches.

Ordered 11 Pro Max 256 GB Space Gray on September 26th. Still Processing, Arrives October 17th - 24th.
 
11 Pro Max 256 GB Midnight Green.
Ordered Sept. 20 with an arrival window Oct 11-18. Received tracking# early morning.

Its crazy im seeing ppl that ordered Sept 20 ish and just receive tracking. I got a replacement through Apple on October 1 and it initially said Arrives Oct 24-31. My phone just arrived today 6 days later from ZZ, China.

Its amazing how fast Apple can make your phone come if they want too.

What they did is better, it is a refund and they refunded the sales tax on the trade-in as well. They treated the whole transaction as a purchase with a trade-in instead of a purchase with a separate sale of the old device. Only ended up paying sales tax on the difference instead of the whole amount. For me I got $50 back as sale tax refund but they took $20 away from that refund to balance what they put in my apple cash originally for the amount refunded, net gain $30 to me. Apple cash wasn't touched, they just adjusted the refund.

Told delivery will be OCT 7-14
Then on 7th told its now OCT 22-24

Seriously WTF?
 
Btw, random note but I did a mail in repair for my MBP a few days ago and the shipping label said AI on it with the Carlisle, PA address which is similar to the trade in.
 
I'm torn on ordering through Apple and going to one of our local Apple stores for pickup. So far our local stores (Easton/Polaris) have shown no stock on the 11 Pro Max in silver/256. Anyone have any idea which would be faster? Shipping dates still show late October. I feel like stores will have to start getting them in stock before that, right?

I don’t, so they can see it working in all its glory and then they will go into settings to erase your phone in front of you before they accept it.

Just have it backed up, make sure you bring your ID and if your carrier has a pin number to your personal account, don’t forget that. Set up your phone service
