Ordered 3 phones. The last of which was a Pro Max 256 Silver AT&T.

The first 2 orders are showing a 20th delivery date.

The Silver phone however is showing 9/27-10/1 delivery (ordered at 7:08 CST).

Apple says “We have everything necessary to complete your order, we’ll update your delivery date when your order is preparing to ship.”

I guess my interpretation of everything necessary is different than Apple. If you got everything necessary (including an iPhone)...it would not be late!

No big deal, it’s my wife’s phone and she could care less...just find it humorous how Apple couches their processing statement.
Do you mean that she couldn’t care less? If she could care less that means that she does care.

I think I put it in the first post on this thread, but the only "locked" phones are the AT&T Next ones so it's reasonable they don't show the carrier.

Yes. Verizon only ships the unlocked ones
Mine shows Verizon as the carrier.

If you correct every grammatical mistake you’re going to be too busy to do do anything else. I understood what he meant.

Mine is still processing, but found this at my door step which I completely forgot I ordered. And my saddle brown Apple leather case is on time for tomorrow for fedex.

Completely forgot thanks for the reminder

There is always time to educate people in order to help them improve themselves whether it be grammar, iPhone software nuggets, or anxiety reduction if they don’t get their phone at 8am on release day

I don’t know why Apple let people wait a whole week for a phone. Every year they should be familiar with this and start selling them the same day as launch

it’s the IOS cycle. Oh if it were only one and done.
In the trenches developers are on 13.1 beta 3 and there will always be nightly alphas.

OMG remember when 32GB was an outrageous amount of storage? Back in the olden days?
Yup my dad got the 32 GB 3GS black and while I got 16GB cause 32 GB was sold out for weeks in my state.

When will they come out with an Apple Watch upgrade program?!?!?
I hope one day but most don’t care about the watch as much as the phone.

Uhh wtf my order got canceled for some reason after being processed yesterday for in-store pickup on the 20th.

I'm headed to the store the morning of 20th now, can't be bothered with this mess online.

Just curious for next time, but it is possible to use iUP on a sim-free phone?

No. IUP makes you designate a carrier. Same thing appears to be true for the 0% financing. The only way to get a sim-free phone is to pay up front (or apply for financing via the Barclaycard offer, but that's not interest-free).

Oh you were educating and helping him to better himself. My mistake. I don’t remember him asking for help to better himself. Sounded more like a put-down.

It would be nice if Apple threw us a bone and shipped them out before launch day. That's one thing I like about a few other OEMs, they ship their phones days before launch.

they will and it will be held at the closest truck depot until morning of 9/20
All together now

Woke up this morning to my green pro max preparing to ship! This seems like the earliest I have ever seen that happen!
I wonder if this year’s launch objective is to reduce phone calls.
We can be fanatics... All those calls to Apple and UPS worried we won’t get our phones on launch day.

I just sent a text to Apple and the reply sent was a link showing Apple care+ as having iUP included? Is that right? If so, I’m good then because I did pay for Apple care. Or is iUP still something different?

AppleCare+ is included with the iUP, not other way around.

iUP is completely different. It's a financing plan that allows upgrades every 12 months. It requires a credit check before Apple will let you in( just like everything else before something is loaned out).

I am going to guess you paid upfront for it? Than iUP has no benefit for you after the fact. The phone is yours and you own it. Where with iUP, the phone isn't yours until you paid it off or upgraded next year and start the cycle again.
