Got mine yesterday but have to send it back I accidentally ordered the one for the pro and not the pro Max.
Did the same thing with the green silicone case during the frenzy of preorders yesterday morning. But once I was able to cancel I did and reordered for the Max.

How do find the reference number?
It’s your phone number or your order number minus the last 2 digits

For some reason the order wasn’t tied to my Apple ID and by the time I fixed it it had already shipped.

If you bought your iPhone with an Apple Card you don’t loose the daily cash when you receive the credit back if you did a trade in. This is because the trade in is considered a credit and not a refund.

I understand that it’s more of a principle thing than a cost thing. But you know they have an upgrade fee you just paid $1,000+ for a phone why are we making a. If deal out of $30/40 that you know would be associated with upgrading.
Because me buying a phone independently from Apple has nothing to do with Verizon. They’re just sticking their hands in a pot they don’t really belong in, and it costs me money. They only need to know I got a new phone.

This fee infuriates me every year but this year I’m going to call and get it removed.

I’m not sure what life you live where $40 to anyone is just a “meh I know it’s principle but why care”? That’s almost my first month payment on my phone and while it definitely wouldn’t break my back I’m not really into handing corporations free money.

I keep trying to track by both my phone number or my order -last 2 digits but it doesn't like the date range for some reason.

I’m with you. I’ll try to get it waved as well. If they won’t then maybe I move providers.

Just because you buy the phone from Apple doesn’t mean it has nothing to do with Verizon. Your still activating it on their network are you not?

You mean I’m turning on my new phone(myself) that I bought from Apple, using a phone number I’ve already had with them, and connecting it to their network in which I pay a pre-existing monthly fee to use?

Why yes, yes I am. And they have no part in it other than providing me the services in which I already pay for.

By the way...

The Apple employee that checked me in said, “whaaaat, we’ve got the cases already?!?” :)
I’m curious how well these work. I’ve bought Spigen and Ringke clear cases that either yellow after some months of use and or cause bubbles under the case.

I ordered a 512 Pro in Midnight Green (Verizon). Completed at 8:05 AM EDT and received my Order Processing email at 8:06 AM.

The app told me September 20th and I didn’t even think to double check the ship date. I just went to check my order status and apparently I slipped to the Sept 27 - Oct 1 window. The processing email also had that date (though I didn’t check it at the time). LOL that was a bit of a surprise.
