I’m irritated that there is so much movement on all these phones. I ordered at 8:06am as soon as the app let me. And nothing. No charge on my Apple Card for taxes, no tracking by ref number, no preparing for shipping and a 10/1-10/4 delivery date.
Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone can help. I just received an email say that I need to update my payment information but I was approved for the iPhone payments through citizens one. I even received my loan approval email a couple hours after I placed the order. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I’m waiting for Apple to open so I can call.
No. Apple is going to street date them to 9/20 and no earlier.
It has happened but UPS and the carriers are on strict orders to not release until launch day.
If you are 10/1-10/4 you are probably not going to see movement until mid next week.

There’s no reason I should have that delivery date when I ordered 6 minutes after after it started and I was preordered. People ordering the exact same phone after me have earlier deliver dates.
6 minutes is a lifetime when dealing with iPhone preorders.

There’s literally every reason, first in best dressed. I understand completely that it sucks, but it is what it is
That’s when the app was available. I kept refreshing and it wasn’t taking orders plus I’ve seen others who were later get the 9/20 date.
Maybe it's deplaned how you payed I paid with Apple Pay and I Got chard the card emideatte it's the full price pending and the iPhone status is prepare to ship
I had the same issue. Had to log in and change my card, then everything went through. My Apple Card was on file, but doesn’t work using the physical card number for some reason. I changed to another master card and then went to preparing for shipment.
I am anxiously awaiting the e-mail from Apple with the pre-sign paperwork. However I leave town Tuesday morning. If I don't get the pre-sign paper in time. Can I just take a piece of paper with the tracking number and sign my name on it and UPS can leave it at the doorstep? We will have a pet sitter come later that day while we are away...
the update is to add the secure # at the back of your credit card no big deal go to your Apple account payment
I used Apple Card. I got the email that my Citizen One loan was approved and that’s it.
I also haven’t seen anyone else with a date as late as mine that ordered that first hour but I haven’t read every thread either.
There’s a chance that the date moves up I’ve seen that before but it’s frustrating if I do what I’m supposed to to get ready and still get delayed.
This may be my issue. I haven’t got anything about payment issues though and the app says they have everything they need.
