iPhone 12 Apple leather cases?

PS: I was worried that it would be chore to get the phone out of the leather case but it is not although it fits very snug.

I don’t have any problems with the corner popping out either.

I just got my black leather case and I’d have to say this is the best feeling case I have had so far. The edges don’t feel sharp, it’s not slippery. It’s just a great quality case. I have a Speigen and a silicone clear case and they both feel ruff on the edges.

I’ve experimented a little bit today with my saddle brown case, and I do have one corner that is slightly easier than the others to take the case off from. However, I really don’t see it coming off unintentionally. I actually think the magnets are used ever so slightly to hold the case, but not much.

Got my BB case today. Can't wait to throw in on.

Does anyone elses case not sit flat? There seems to be a slight bend in my leather case so when my phone is on a table or something, it wobbles slightly when I am using the phone. Its more annoying then you think lol

Here's an assortment of comparison shots between the Apple Leather Case and the Mujjo leather case, for my iPhone 12 Pro.
The Mujjo smells like pure leather, whereas the Apple case has a faint smell of chemicals. The Apple case completely surrounds the phone and has metal buttons that are easier to press. Other obvious distinction is lack of MagSafe magnets in the Mujjo, but the Magsafe charger still "clicks" on to the case.

I'd really like to get my hands on the Bullstrap case since it looks like actual real leather from the photos.

I do prefer the open bottom leather cases like in previous years but I refuse to use a leather case that does not have responsive buttons like the Apple ones do.

The Bullstrap case looks really good though

Just an observation. I got my 12PM today and snapped it into two different leather cases the poppy and saddle. I noticed the top left corner on the saddle had a little give to it and I was able to push it back somewhat. The poppy color had no issues and felt tight. I took off the saddle case and tried putting the phone in with the bottom first then pushed the top into the leather case and it felt much more secure and seated. No idea if this is a fluke but might be worth trying for folks who are having issues with the phone coming out of the corners.

I dont like the leather case on the 12 pro max. none of them really match the gold ... also it just is to big and looks bad without the cut out . they were perfect for the round edge iPhones but not this one.

I received my saddle-brown leather case for the iPhone 12 Pro today. I‘ve been eyeing this case for a few generations, but finally I gave in to the price 😅

I love the grip. It‘s less slippery than the hard plastic cases I have used on previous generations. And since I find the size of the iPhone 12 Pro already challenging in some situations, the leather case doesn‘t add much thickness luckily. It‘s not a bumper case, but I wasn‘t looking for any.

I‘m really impressed with the metal buttons. That click is gorgeous.

Right out of the box I did notice some kind of chemical or plastic smell, but now the slight smell of leather has become clearer.

And of course, some words regarding the edges. If I really looked closely at it, I‘d say out of the four corners, the top right one snaps a bit louder and seems to sit tighter than the other 3 for some reason. Don‘t get me wrong, they all sit fine and tightly. Nothing loose here!

I couldn‘t see any case animation, though. 😭

The animation happens with the screen on but locked. So angle it away from your face and you’ll see it.

After my failed attempt buying a used black leather case from Amazon Warehouse I’ve now purchased a new saddle brown version which will be delivered on Monday. Hopefully it’s in perfect condition and doesn’t suffer from the corners popping off my my 12 Pro. I’ve been tempted by the saddle brown colour for a few years now but always end up with the black version.

Saddle Brown is a classic. What color IPhone do you have? The only downside in my opinion with that color is not the way it patina ‘s overtime which looks great, but the buttons remain that shiny copper. I don’t always love that contrast of a worn saddle brown and the buttons long term.

I have a graphite 12 Pro so it should look great with the brown case. I’m hoping the patina looks good as I’m used to the black case which never changes appearance.

Found an issue with my leather case for the 12PM: the right edge of the case comes up much higher than the left and my thumb gets caught on it when I’m swiping on the screen. I’m going to return this one and try again. Bummer because otherwise it’s a perfect case but this is very annoying.

Hello guys. Is it true it feels more protective this time as I saw in a review? Last time I had an Apple leather case was for my iPhone 6.

I'm not having any problems with any corners popping off my phone. If anything the case is a little too tight. I had a heck of a time taking it off the first time. This hasn't been an issue with the Apple leather cases I've purchased in the past.

It didn’t for myself. The case is thinner this year with a super slim layer of “leather” over a thin plastic shell. My se2/8 apple case as well as the 11 pro saddle brown felt much more protective.

The quality of the case remains to be seen based on how it holds up over time, but the added protection can be chalked up to the flat edges that give a more secure grip than the curved edges of the last gen, and the raised lip around the sceeen (and around the camera on the 12PM cases).

I'm thinking he's talking about the bottom no longer being exposed and a lip around the camera cut out

The cases seem like they're coming from a different manufacturer than in the past.
