What date do you guys figure they are available for in store pickup at Verizon? I’ll have a chance to get one about the 2nd week of December. Shipping is not an option for me.
 
looks like I wake up early on Friday for nothing - I still see Nov 13 as the delivery date for 12 Max on the Apple site, AT&T, Verizon, etc. I wonder if they have more supply or the demand is kind of low
its all because of this pandemic thats why. i still see a lot of colors, iphone mini, & pro max available. this time i dont think apple will have a good year & wont sell much..
 
Shocking my order for the 256GB iPhone Mini was going be delivered from November 23-28th but my friend who order the same iPhone 12 Mini but with only 64GB can either pick it up at the Apple Store or have it delivered with arrival on the 13th! My order was not available for pickup at the Apple Store either! :mad:
 
Apparently production is back on track in China, because my 12 Pro which was slated to arrive last week of November/1st week of December has been bumped up to a Nov 13th delivery date as well. Yay!🥳

For what it’s worth, my heart goes out to the folks building these things, who are probably working way too hard just to supply me with a frivolous luxury gadget. They deserve some love and acknowledgement for the not-so-cheap thrills they are providing for us.
 
The silver is better anyway in terms of minimalism and durability. The steel is not painted on the silver, polished raw stainless steel frame, more resistant than other painted version. :)
Now that 've had 24 hours to think about it, Im glad I ordered the silver now - for the reasons you state! Plus, honestly it will be in a case 99% of the time. Color has never really mattered.
 
I don't see the point in waiting until Friday if these iPhone devices are ready to go...? The 12 Pro and 12 are already out. If anything, it'd ease Apple store/Third-Party stress. Anyone can enlighten me? I'm sure there's a reason.
It is nothing more than Apple being set in its ways and not wanting to establish a new precedence for future releases that may or may not be staggered.
 


iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max pre-orders just went live this morning, but some customers who placed orders are already seeing those orders shift over to the "preparing to ship" status.

Orders that are preparing to ship are no longer able to be canceled, and soon those orders should be able to be tracked using methods like UPS My Choice and track by reference number in the United States. The first customers who ordered this morning will see their devices arriving on Friday, November 13.

Supplies of the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max have been adequate, though some iPhone 12 Pro Max colors and capacities from some carriers will not arrive until later in November or early December for orders placed now.

Many iPhone 12 mini models appear to be in stock and available for launch day delivery, and for those able to pick up in a store, most iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 mini models continue to be available for launch day pickup in some areas.

According to spot checks done by Loup Ventures, the 128GB iPhone 12 Pro Max in Pacific Blue appears to be one of the most highly sought after models, alongside the iPhone 12 Pro in the same color.

That is incorrect. If it is in the "preparing to ship" stage, you still have time. If you made a mistake ordering an iPhone and need to reorder, you can call 1-800-MY-APPLE to cancel within 24 hours after placing the order. It takes another 24 hours for the order to be canceled before you can re-order and upgrade using your existing phone number. You will receive a confirmation email from Apple before you could re-order.
 
My iPhone 12 pro max 128 gold just shipped this morning from Verizon. It actually is in the system not just the label, it says that it’s gonna be held until the 13th obviously.

Apple was suppose to use there bigger Apple Stores as warehouse and distribution centers to quicken order fulfillment too!;)
I think that is for product that they aren't struggling to produce large quantities of.
 
I could’ve opted for shipping at my place for 11/13 but I decided to pickup in store instead. Good news is that there’s an Apple store close to my job and it’s still release date pickup of 11/13.
 
i know that this topic is way off but just want to know. why does iphone 12 mini have the white color but not on pro max? silver and white are a different color right. i wanted the white color on pro max but it didnt have so i choose the silver

I woke up this morning to find my 2 orders were canceled. On pre order day I did what any good fanboy does and purchased 2 IPhone 12 pro Max’s for my wife and I. When I contacted costumer service they informed me it was a error however it can’t be reversed. I was instructed to go in store but I’m currently forward deployed and they don’t have unlocked phones for sale here so I was told to re order the iPhones however the delivery date could not be altered. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they told me they will call me back in 4 days. So to sum it all up my orders were wrongfully canceled and now I have to wait an additional month to get my IPhone’s. For a multi billion dollar company you would think they would have better costumer service and would take care of the costumer rather than just say they will call you in 4 days until then just reorder the phones and wait the additional month.

I think Sprint heard me complain, I have a tracking number now and an scheduled delivery for 11/13
