Is that the Apple site?
1st image : official iPhone ids.
2nd image, dev apple site.

We could see that's there a mistake for iOS 14.3 full restore firmwares. It says "iPhone 12 pro max, iPhone 12 pro", but the firmware is labeled as if it was iPhone 12 (regular iphone13,2) & iPhone 12 pro (iPhone 13,3).
iPhone 12 pro max is internaly iPhone13,4

And other mistake: iPhone 12 regular redirects to a firmware labeled ... iPhone13,4 (which is.. Pro max 🤡👻)

I’m having the same issues with my Mini. Also the audio on my speakerphone is not very loud either. I’ve tried with case on and off and it doesn’t seem to make any difference when swiping. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I might try calling Apple but I’m seriously thinking this phone might be going back. I’m so disappointed.
Sounds like you need to try “reset all settings” and if that doesn’t work, try recovery mode. You may have a software update glitch with the sound issue, as the sound on mine is loud.

And no iPhone 12 mini (iPhone13,1) iOS 14.3 beta ;) And regular iOS 14.2 for iPhone 12 mini is unavailable on dev site.

It's so strange.

I'm sure there is something wrong with these releases for iPhone 12 mini, and I'm sure Apple devs are on it! ;) No worry guys :)

Arg! Just been 1hr on apple support chat with this problem, nearly lost will to live. (iPhone 12 mini, case and screen protector, touchscreen insensitivity especially at bottom when on lock screen. But not JUST at bottom, and not JUST on lock screen.) Apple have suggested I update to iOS 14.2. Anyone found that helps?!

Were they aware of this issue?

I think most of us here are already on 14.2. If you didn’t get to talk to a senior level adviser, I can see why you are frustrated.

Are you going to attempt DFU? And if so, did Apple tell you how to invoke it?
Hi Robert
I don’t know what a DFU is and apple have not advised. They sent me an email with a link Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings . Unfortunately this link dose not work when I click anyway. I have read someone else has reset the phone to factory settings using iTunes on this thread and they are still experiencing the same issues. I have not reset my phone yet as the link is not working.

iOS 14.2 issue I'm sure.
My iPhone 12 mini was shipped with iOS 14.1. But I update as soon as I set up it.
Curious to know if same issues with both screen protector & case BUT on iOS 14.1. Anybody?
Mine was having the issue on 14.1 and I updated to 14.2 to try and correct it. It did not fix the problem for me.

Thanks for reporting this :)
I remember having some touch issues on my XS with iOS 14.2, on some apps. But I was thinking apps issues. Maybe a link with our mini problem?

it has something to do, with not touching the frame while clicking lock buttons. But it can be fixed by a software update. And I can prove it.

If you go to accessibility settings and turn on:
Touch Accommodations
and
Hold Duration

it works, but you’ll get a delay (no less than 0,10 seconds), for every other touch you’ll do afterwards. But proves my point. So we’ve just have to wait for an update.

I'm very close to taking it back to Apple and exchanging tomorrow. Some people seem to be reporting that they are not having problems. Is it worth taking a chance?

No, keep it :) Pretty sure it's a software issue :)

Dispite this, the mini is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G

For me this didn’t change anything. I still have the same issues, they just take .1 seconds longer to see.
