I'm curious if any others have this combo and also have no issues. I checked with my wife and neither she nor I have had ANY lock screen issues on our Pro Max with ESR screen protectors and apple cases.
The thing is that nobody so far has ever mentioned these problems with the PRO MAX, it only applies to the 12 mini

Dzisiaj miałem zdalną diagnostykę 12 mini a rezultat jest taki , iż telefon jest w pełni sprawny co jest sprzeczne z moim odczuciem.

Yep. I get that. So is it the consensus that removing the screen protector "fixes" the issue?
Yes, it seems that removing the screen protector resolves the issue. I'm not aware of anyone who doesn't have a screen protector that is still having issues. Similarly, using a screen protector and not using a case also resolves the issue.

Indeed. Yesterday, I've received my 12 mini.

Before I applied the screen protector, the phone had been working fine, after that came back to mormal... I mean work the same like other Mini's with SP+case.

Btw. has someone similar paint spot on the frame like my device?

This is not true on my phone. When I remove the case I still have an issue also when I touch the camera I still have an issue.

My apologies I thought you said case my phone does not work when I remove the case I have not removed the screen protector because then it will have to go in the bin and I paid good money for that screen protector

According to Apple Care rep, their engineers are working on it and they will come up with a software update to fix it.

I had the issue without a case or screen protector. Almost couldn't get the phone set up, wondered if I'd ever escape the language selection stage.
Appears I've been unlucky, I think one other person maybe 2 on this thread have also had issues with naked phones as well, but overwhelmingly seems to be a case screen protector activated problem.

If the problem only happens on the lock screen, then it can be resolved with a software change.
If it was a hardware issue you would have problems all of the time.
I don’t understand why anyone at this point doesn’t have this clear after all this posts... What it’s not clear it’s the yellow damm thing

Count me in on having issues when using a case (Zagg Batersea)/screen protector.

Without the case.
No issues.

I just chatted with apple support. The rep told me that they had never heard about this. See my screenshot. I sent links forms and google searches. They told me to replace my phone. Nope. Not doing that.

I just got a call from Tim Cook’s office (Executive Relations). I had sent him an email about this problem on Friday afternoon. The lady that called had also read the notes from the call I had with the advisor today. It looks like they want me to work with the technical and engineering department on this matter to hopefully get it resolved. They scheduled a call back tomorrow at 4pm.
Any feedback on this? Or is it covered in some NDA?

QUESTION everyone!!! Did you start your phone as a new phone? Or did you do an iCloud backup? Also, can anyone confirm if the issue persists on the mini if it’s started as a new phone in general? Could it be a backup issue only?
