I think the colours are gross. Just give me a black/grey or white/silver.

My last iPhone was a white 4S. Feels right to get a silver Pro Max now iPhones are back to flat edge design like the 4S had. I wanna see how far iPhone has come and what I've been missing out on. I loved that little 4S.

you don’t need any machine learning...the processor in the RX100m7 has the fastest autofocus on par with $5000 A9 full frames... perfect autofocus in 0.02 sec, no cell phone can touch it. 200x optical zoom, no cell phone can touch it. 1” sensor, no cell phone can touch it.

All these phone are trying to emulate the RX100m6/7 optical capabilities. Never gonna happen, and if it gets close they’ll come out with something a decade ahead of where Apple is at.

If you want to actually shoot quality photos, you have to have a quality camera. You will never be able to maximize your potential being handicapped by an iPhone. Do research and shoot in .RAW with the RX100 & blow it up in Lightroom, then compare it with this iPhone 12 Pro Max....its not a fair fight, the iPhone 12 Pro Max would have a better shot of beating Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros, than it does beating the RX100.

I’m not saying these don’t shoot quality photos...they do. I’m saying this is the minor leagues of photography, and anyone who says otherwise is a shrill for :apple:

If you care a lot about photography, far better to have (1) a phone and (2) a DSLR/mirrorless crop or full-frame camera than to pay $1k+ for a tweener camera like the RX100 series. The differences in quality are far, far greater between the RX100 and an APSC or full-frame camera than iPhone and an RX100.

Not to mention the much better image stabilization and video and sound quality that you get straight from the camera with the iPhone than relying on a hot shoe attachment, gimbal or similar arrangement. And most people have no interest in shooting RAW. They want good pics straight out of camera to share and whatnot.

That looks like a toy, this one is way more elegant.

I would have preferred a darker hue as well. The blue used on the Apple Watch 6 would have been perfect IMO. Always wanted a “midnight blue” iPhone since the rumors popped up back around the iPhone 7.

Now I would like to know which presenter will take the honor to explain about the new camera and the mini HomePod today.

I don't use cases. Have a green 11 Pro right now. I like the blue so far but feel like I'll probably get tired of it. I think I'm going with gold or silver.

Hideous pre faded looking colors, why can’t they just make a simple black like the iPhone 7’s that had two gorgeous shades of black? Apple has really lost its way, they used to have the best designs, now they are putting out absolute trash.

I hope the features are worth it, because this design 'change' hardly justifies the move from 11 to 12...
Has Apple ever released a device that truly justifies an upgrade after 12 months? I mean, I love Apple and their gear, but I'd be pretty hard pressed to justify spending that amount of money every year for a new phone.

Don't know about the rest of the world, but here in the States, 5G is NOT ready for prime time !

As such, it will be extremely interesting to see how Cook & Co. pitch the new iPhones today !

If NOT forthright, they could take a HUGE HIT, valuation-wise, 3-6 months from now !

To those who know tech, 5G is NOT a catalyst this year, maybe by this time next year !

However, I will say this, the mini is the perfect ONE-YEAR lease option !

It has ALOT going for it, if priced @ $699 USD.

I think it will be the blue one then. My last two were silver, normally I would take black now, but this isn't dark enough for me, so I guess I will try something new for the next two years. :)

The final decision will come when I have seen the frame color.
