Replacement is coming tomorrow so I will update you. Checked the serial number on chipmunk.nl and it said manufactured week 18 2021 so if it's a hardware issue they may have fixed it.

I was able to get an ERS by saying the issue persisted from launch through 14.6 and they requested that I send a picture of the green tint. It's easily captured in a dark room
Hopefully it’s fixed with the replacement model, hate playing the screen lottery.

I’m holding off till august before getting mine replaced for the same crap green 💩🤦‍♂️

Looking forward to seeing if it’s fixed with the phone apple send out.

Same for me , it is at 88% since a couple of weeks now….I was looking forward to reach the holy 80% before September and 13 , but not sure anymore….
Finally shows another 1% drop to 85%.
June 17 - 30, Took a lot longer to drop for some odd reason. (If I was at 98%...even 95% I'd be actually happy perhaps. But yeah, when it's this low..just drain down already!)

Daily battery drain, little-normal use is just sad. I was out for about 5 hours on Sunday, left w/ 100%, came home with a 54% battery.

If I want to shoot some video, timelapse...take pics using my tripod or my gimbal....forget it, I DO need a battery pack or I'll be down to 20...10% in no time. The drain is that bad now. Just very disappointed with this phone. 😠

I wonder if 14.6 contained something which has had an impact on battery reporting? mine is at a steady 95% and has slowed down the drop rate and it sounds like others on here are saying the same, like its stabilising a little, or Apple are fudging battery reporting figures.

My hypothesis is that 14.5.1 had a bug in power management, resulting in slower iPhones, and they fixed performance in 14.6 at the expense of battery life. Might have an impact on battery health but this is just speculation.

On 14.5.1, I’m not a power user and up until the past month have remained mostly at home. This is my 3rd 12 Pro, after the previous 2 were replaced, which I received mid November. This week noticed battery life was taking a hit and checked battery health which has dropped from 100% to 98%. Understand that the capacity is somewhat arbitrary but both of these coincidences make me wonder.

By the way judging, judging battery health based only on time passed is nearly pointless. Beyond actual new capacity (e.g., some being above design), each device is taxed differently over the same period of time. There are multiple factors. However, keeping things simple… In general, Apple expects ~5% total capacity loss every ~125 cycles (for iPhone batteries).

My phone is still reporting 92% health. CoconutBattery is reporting 93.5% health (with 90 cycles), which is interesting, because it used to report lower battery health than Apple's number on the phone.

Battery life is much, much better, even when compared to my old battery that was degraded to 89%. I previously was losing around 5-7% an hour and am now losing only 3%. This is an apples-to-apples 15.0b2 comparison as well.
Keep us updated if green tint comes back.

Alright, so my iPhone battery health has stopped declining. It was declining almost on a weekly basis. I’m hoping it’ll stay the same for another year or so. I was really planning on not upgrading for the first time ever, since … well ever since the iPhone 3G.

I will say tho, if I was one of the guys who are okay with iPhone repairs, then I would’ve been pissed that the battery health stopped declining when it has already drained over half of my recommended battery health, that means I can’t get a free battery replacement and stuck with 89%.

But I hate repairs, so it doesn’t bother me. However I wonder if 89% battery health means I have a weaker screen on time if I would have 100%. I wouldn’t know I’m on beta and battery life sucks.

What iOS version are you on that slowed the battery capacity drain? iOS 15 Public Beta?

Just to get an idea what do yo guys plan on doing about your poor battery health? Wait for some sort of update from apple to fix the issue if its a software bug or get your battery replaced? I was thinking about getting my battery replaced and paying for it, but what if the issue comes back and is a software bug? Btw my iPhone 12 Pro just dropped another 1% to 94%. On average it drops 1% every 2 - 4 weeks.

Except if you have a real huge issue (in that case Apple will handle it), I would don't care about it, and replace your battery in an Apple Store once you are in the 80-85% battery capacity territory. Especially if you really want to keep your iPhone confortably for more than 2 years.
