iPhone 12 Pro Max - been keeping it 40-80 most of its life - (usually sees 60-85 on a normal day). I use whatever plug is available - usually an Anker battery or a MacBook charger. Before all day events I will charge to 97-100% ( rare these days ).

To other folks - fluctuation is normal. Observing it over time is the only way to get a real bearing on where your battery is. Always check it at the same charge % as well. It is normal for a battery to fluctuate. Before my iPhone 12 Pro Max, I kept most of my phones plugged in whenever I could (meaning they spent most of their lives at 100% charge). I would lose on average 5-6% every 1.5 years or so.
Doing this 40-80% seems to have a very noticeable effect on battery longevity. I'm seeing same thing on my MBP with AlDente.
Typically warranty replacement is remanufactured units with casing, screen, and batteries will be brand new. 🤣Nah im convinced that my replacement is brand new ... they just plug it into their machine and change the model prefix with 'N' instead of leaving it a 'M" Also the replacement had zero charges and also the unit according to 3utool wasn't opened or have any parts replaced.
This is what I always do with my iPhone. 40%-80%. Never fully charged. So far still 104%.iPhone 12 Pro Max - been keeping it 40-80 most of its life - (usually sees 60-85 on a normal day). for my MBP M1, I do have ADente Pro and have the charge limiter to set at 80%.
Did you try calling them again. Hoping to get another specialist on the line?My launch 12 pro has dropped from 99% in January to 91%. I contacted apple support regarding the issue and they just provided me with a bunch of information regarding battery degradation and how to properly store and charge the phone. They told me not to worry about it and quickly brushed me off.
No, I'm actually not too worried about the issue as the phone still seems to be performing well. I mostly was interested in what they had to say about it. I pretty much knew going into it that it would be a slim chance they would do anything at this point. If anything it will be documented on their end now.Did you try calling them again. Oddly that is almost how my fiasco sort of started - how I first noticed the mess.Anyone tried draining to zero and then a full charge with the phone off?
Same thing here , no way to get a new battery even if it is at 88%.Just finished speaking to apple support. The rep was of no help to me. It took me 30 minutes of arguing with him for him to finally do a diagnostic. When it was done he said it was fine. He kept on telling me of ways to improve battery life and sending me apple support articles. I also have another issue where my battery just drops for no reason. He said the same thing about that issue. What a waste of time.
I did. Nothing changedAnyone tried draining to zero and then a full charge with the phone off?
